I have used this exact camera for the back of my horse trailer for the past 3 years. It works excellent and is simple to install.My trailer is about 36’ long and there is plenty of extra cable/wire. I have mine mounted on the hay rack storage on the top of our trailer and it gives me a very wide view of who is behind me, etc. Also the instructions recommend NOT running these cables under the trailer. I have my cable on the roof and used isopropyl alcohol to clean where each adhesive cable holder is applied to the roof. The cable runs through the clips (adhesive with zip ties) and down the length of the roof and down the side of the gooseneck and under. The excess is held with the “giant” zip ties. The transparent mode has to be on the back of the truck not the back of the trailer. You have to pick one way to install.

Once you install it's yours. In other words. Don't buy it unless you plan to keep it forever or sell on some forum. Banks return policy is a joke

I have a question...the user manual for this camera requires 7 measurements to calibrate the trailer camera to the truck...5 of the 7 need a measurement to or from the coupler...but there is no coupler (or receiver used) per se on a 5th wheel. How did you input "revised values" to successfully calibrate to your trucks infotainment center?

Is it possible to do that with a lml with dpf emissions on it???

Dealer told me, in Pennsylvania, you can only run 1/4 inch max for spacers. Yet I see so many truck with obviously more than that. Do they just take them off for DOT inspection?

Just got one( separate remote), easy to install. So far I love it, will see for longer operations. Hated the cell phone app, didn't work the greatest for me. About a month of system use and love so far, just didn't like the app control system (problem some for me).

Danger attention😢 I seen two videos today it's April 2024. 2,, hitches BROK OFF!!!!😢 the truck😢😢😢hitch motorcycle hauler like this one in the video and one of the other type like Harbor Freight, or ramp style motorcycle rear hitch receiver hauler! and they both busted off the truck and fell on the road😢😢😢 motorcycles fell.😮 the square stock snaps right off... you've got to reinforce this stuff!!,, my suggestion is build a three-point ramp style receiver hitch motorcycle hauler where you have the receiver hitch in the middle and then you have a little version receiver on the left side of the bumper and on the right side of the bumper from underneath the frame or whatever where you can extend a pipe or a small square stock underneath each side of the motorcycle hauler and that would stop all movement and make it super strong

Did you buy the GM trailer camera system or did you have your own and get an adapter to fit the receptacle in your truck? I’m trying to figure out how to get power to the camera and video back to the truck so that I can see it on my display. 21GMC AT4 3500 I’d prefer to not spend $1000+ on GM camera system. @americanduramax. what length of cable did you end up buying and is it still working good for you? Did you ever route the camera connector thru the overhang of the fifth wheel and into the pin box?

What do you recommend for a 2023 1500 wanting to do a zone 4” or rough country 6inch have adaptive ride control and wanting to run 35x12.50r20 with zero offset. I want just a tad bit of poke past the fender but that’s it. Not trying to throw rocks all over the side of the truck. Please also respond with link to products in response.

Amazing video. I just purchased a brand new 2024 Honda CRF 110F and there is an issue, I am hoping you can help me with. The bike kicks pretty hard when shifting. When you shift from neutral to first it kicks a bit. When your shift from 1st to 2nd, it kicks pretty hard. When shifting from 2nd to 3rd and from 3rd to 4th, you don’t feel the click of the gear lever, but it doesn’t kick at all. And when downshifting, you could be going in 3rd or 4th gear and slowing down, and downshifting when almost coming to a stop, it kicks hard as well. I would appreciate any kind of help. Perhaps there is some kind of an adjustment I can do to eliminate or at least reduce this issue. Thanks so much.

Has there been a fix for the gauge issue yet? I’m really wanting to put one of these tanks on my 2022 2500 Duramax. I just keep hoping they have the program I g issues lined out for the dash.
