I left the Democrat Party over their policies; I had (regrettably) voted for Biden; but I feel for anyone going through memory issues. I plan to retire this year and I'm nowhere near Biden's age. At 80, I think you're allowed to forget many things, and you're certainly allowed to stop working. The party appears (because how could I know?) to want Biden in there because he appears to be a figurehead. I knew when he said his mother would be appalled that children couldn't receive transgender surgery that he wasn't thinking correctly. His mother's generation would have been appalled alright, but not in the way Joe told us she would be. That told me he was genuinely confused. His people, his party backers, can prep him and get him to agree to things and he's going to sign what they want him to, but how much is he really understanding and for how long. I hate to see anyone struggle with this. Even someone who has signed onto policies I deeply disagree with. I tend to think the party plans to keep him on until Kamala Harris can take the helm (i.e. until he passes). I don't think Harris could wind up president any other way. In a legitimate election, Trump would easily beat anyone. In 2020, it was very unlikely that Biden got more votes than Obama and Trump got the most votes as an incumbent President, but that's what supposedly happened. I say a lot of illegitimate votes were injected into the election for Biden considering he couldn't draw a crowd during the campaign and Trump's crowds were in the tens of thousands. Guys, eloquence is a minor qualification for being a great leader. Trump has invaluable corporate and political experience. He has failed and succeeded in both arenas, which few Americans have experienced. He's also in a good position to serve his country after having reaped abundantly from the American dream, while many other political leaders are using their political offices to build up their personal wealth.
