How to rotate wheels on an endless swan frame?
@endlessblading26 күн бұрын
I would swap the outer wheels across frames and flip, and then do the same for the inner wheels.

I like the horizontal view better. It's easy to rotate my cell phone. Rotating my monitor vertically is a pain in the butt.

I appreciate the input. I'll probably do horizontal next time.

I've been riding the Endless 90 for three years now. The quality is so good, they still look Spanish as good as new. When weather is too bad to skate, I'm often tempted to try something else, but first skate session always brings me back to loving the frames I have. Just feels perfect to me.

Thanks so much for the support! I'm happy to hear they are working so well for you.

I prefer the horizontal format for these videos because I watch on my TV. This may show up as a mobile device in your stats as my TV runs on an Android OS. However, I may be in the minority here. I'll watch either way. Loving my Endless frames!

I love these geeky skate talks. One quick question on the frame locks: as someone who has always just centered my frames, what are the advantages to offsetting them? Is it just a preference thing or can you get more power transfer with an offset frame?
@endlessblading2 ай бұрын
I think offsetting the frames is helpful if you have alignment issues on your boot (carbon boots are notorious for sloppy tolerances since they are handmade), or if you are trying to correct a pronation issue. Perhaps someone with a race background can weigh in with thoughts regarding performance benefits to one’s stride.

ummmm I try to find Endless 84 LR but only have 90 LR looks too big for my 39EU size, my question is, the 84 frame are highest than the 90 LR ? many thanks I love your frames guys jod job ! I love your FR setup Brad :)
@endlessblading2 ай бұрын
The overall ride height of the 90 LR is about 1 mm higher than the Endless 84 Trinity. Because our 84 mm wheels use the same core as the 90 mm wheels they are nearly as fast (greater ratio of core to urethane which makes them stiff and speedy), but are a bit lighter. Thanks for the kind words and for watching the episode!

Unfortunately they would not be allowed to skate my products since they are under contract with Powerslide to only exclusively skate PS products. I don't ever do exclusive contracts. I feel people should be free to skate whatever they like. This way you know if someone is skating an Endless product it's because they really enjoy it and weren't paid to do so.

Is there anything you'd suggest to protect the finish on the frames from getting scratched up? Maybe just for the outer edges, similar to a car's clear-bra to protect the paint job? Do you think using automotive ceramic coating on the mercury finish would work?
@endlessblading3 ай бұрын
I don't have any experience with those coating. I would just skate them and not worry about them getting dings or scratches. Those are the marks that tell the story of your personal skating journey. They are proof that you are out there having fun and improving your skills.
@CritCommanda3 ай бұрын
@@endlessblading thanks for your input. My friends endless swans scratched the bronze off easily, and I don't need to prove anything with scratched-up frames so I'm gonna 3M ppf my endless swans to protect the beautiful finish as long as possible
@endlessblading3 ай бұрын
@@CritCommanda In general aluminum is a soft metal so if you scrape the frame on concrete, or pavement, or other pieces of metal it will scratch. That's just a fact of life. But I can appreciate you wanting to extend the aesthetic beauty of the frame as long as possible.

The man knows his shit, and it's been great, especially recently, seeing how much of an investment he has in the sport as a whole - not just in having a shop but in breathing life into the soul (heh, no pun intended!) of the sport. I really love the concept from the CS. Hi-Lo-Hi-Lo-Hi is such a cool combo for a 5 wheel frame, the small wheels leading to a lower center of gravity and the wheel base being consistent across the rocker (vs Hi-Lo-Hi-Hi-Hi which has a shorter wheel base in the front and longer in the back). I'd like an 84-72-84-72-84.

People on budget if still want good wizard endless experience. Get endless arc UFS mount frame, UFR boot ( without soulplate), rip out glued sponge at the bottom of the boot, replace ankle strap to fr1 ratchet buckle, for shock absorption get footprint game changer heat moldable insoles. Instead of intuition get power slide 2nd skin liner it is as thin as intuition and equally supportive. All that will save u so much money and will have great experience with endless frames. This is budget wizard setup.

The frame lock is slick. Traxxas uses a similar slot fill technique for tightening their motors. They have a plastic filler with holes for different gear sizes, but the main slot is long and metal.
