Thanks for this because most of the chop suey owners are retiring and/or closing completely. Their children don’t want to carry on the tradition. I had been going to the same one for almost 50 years for my fried rice, egg foo young fix and they just closed out of nowhere! No warning. No bye! Smh Love your channel. Glad I stumbled on it.

Nice recipe. However, you should consider "talking" more as you put the ingredients in so we know what measurements to use & how long to cook them. That would've been more helpful. Thanks.

yes it is and you cook it until it's tender enough for you. Taste it! About an hours.

Made the recipe today. Not a fan of the jarred garlic flavor, as it stands out quite a bit compared to fresh minced garlic from a bulb. Would like to try again with that substitution.
