Hi. Can i know how did you boot your pc using only the external SDD enclosure? I have duplicated both SSD and going to use the m2 slot for egpu (i have only 1 slot of it). So can i just plugged in the m2>usb to my pc/laptop and boot it normally?

I am using the same adapter with my desktop pc and my onexgpu, I don't know why the onexgpu does not turn on :(

why are so many people interested in a controller like this, but they hate the steam controller. the steamcontroller can literally do the same thing. (i am not hating on this awsome controller by the way). but this controller could only work on console games that have keyboard and mouse controls. or on pc. The steam controller was badly marketed. and the shape and build quality was not that greate. so i am not saying that the steamcontroller is the end all be all. Maybe the steamcontroller is more diffuicult to learn because steaminput can do so many things that are not explained very well by valve. I also have a steamdeck and the layout i way better then on the steamcontroller. but i dont know if that will work on a controller shape. because you hold the deck at a higher position near the triggers than you would a controller. But if valve made a mockup to test the ergonomics, it could work. and 4 extra buttons instead of 2 on the steamcontroller. plus 2 gyro chips instead of 1 (like the alpakka controller). This steamcontroller v2 could work for either trackpad plus gyro. or gyro ratcheting on touchpad touch. or just trackpad only. a steamcontroller v2 could offer all these different thing as an option.

I hope you have found a way forward with this project. I am currently using the Darkwalker ShotPad controller and it's not sufficient for FPS play.

Great video, but ant update for 2024? I have head about oculink cable that is making miracles for e-gpu, another thing is really Compatible with all gpu? Any gpu less Advisable, maybe a super expensive and new one?

I don't know about this oculink with that m.2 slot has like 2-4 lanes when your graphic card needs 8-16 lanes. Maybe in the long run you are better off saving the money towards a decent desktop. But it is fun to see if you could with these old laptops to get more life out of them instead of ewaste. Another thing to consider is to use Linux on these old laptops.
