Late to the party here but I too am certain that a number of the leaderless and designated leader tasks are totally impossible.

Wot, now ash poles, medicine balls or oil barrels? And what’s with the nice little sippy bottle that bloke’s got? Get a grip man! Nothing like the battle PT of yesteryear! 😆

Guys like this are absolutely no good for the army at all. His training probably cost the MOD more than he was ever worth. Now that he's actually valuable to the British Army, he's jumping ship. He's an opportunist who used the training and education to better himself and then ran away. I think anyone seeking to be an officer should have to sign a ten-year contract before going to Sandhurst. What will he do now? Go back to the gym or return to sales? What an idiot.

Im not taking the piss but im not exactly impressed by the physical look of some of these lads.

No tactics what so ever and I was not first line. Why are they all standing up. Also right flanking was done by a group not individuals. God help us. Also trained at Catterick in January not nice. Instructors had to break the ice in streams so we could go into them. Then tell us how crap we were.

Seems like a high school track team and not a military platoon. Apparently, the British army is a relaxed “gentleman's” experience

Thank you for your service. I'm an American and served in the US military for 16 years (Marines and army national guard). I'm practically elderly at 55 now, but if i were young again (and a citizen of the UK) I'd definitely join. Plus, in high school I was a big fan of Def Lepard, so it works out. 😎

You were most certainly the Poster Boy (sorry if that sounds patronising) for the well motivated young army officer, the leader of men. Now you're the cooled out fitness Guru encouraging young men to succeed and exceed. Thanks for the explanation and workshop on fitness. With regards to the pillows, YES, and I hate putting them on the floor and kicking them around as I navigate my way to the toilet in the dark early hours. Though if you're having a good summer, you're not in the UK, it's hot 1 day in 5 and miserable for the rest of the time.😊

Not sure about the poster boy but I appreciate it nonetheless haha. Now just wanting to share my knowledge & experience to help people join the military in better fitness shape than they are today 💪 Totally feel you with the cushions 😂

I'm late to the party but I'm really impressed with the strategy of using strobe lights and pounding music to add a little chaos and stress test the training! I'm guessing the lads didn't know that particular spanner was going to be thrown in the works until they did it? Nice!

Left 14 months ago. Totally true about the "no end state" when it comes to the civilian world. I've had so many years always working towards something that the constant wheel turning attitude of the civilian sector is something I'm still struggling with.

I hear you. It’s definitely a different mindset. Perhaps that’s why people change jobs so often these days - who knows. I find speaking with other veterans about it somewhat therapeutic. It helps me at least haha

Finally back, I have been watching your video's and they have been massively helpful, as you are one of the reason on why I want to join the army as an officer, all the videos you have made, I have been making notes to improve myself and been more active outside, as I mostly need to work on my physically side (brought running shoes and gear), academically I'm good but still improving. Also garmin or whoop, been months and still can't decide 😅. Amazing video by the way
