Kinda weak to barely cover the Steam Next Fest games and to basically only show footage from non-VR games. The event is already almost over and PC VR already doesn't get all that many notable games, so covering some these demos would've been great for a VR channel.

Tried Vision Pro aside from 3d movie watching, which is freaking awesome, not worth the price point. fov sucks ..2k or 1500 yeah, no question ... but it's also way heavier than the quest 3

with how many people returned and were already bored with the vision pro 2 weeks into release i don't think it's a good idea to buy one even if you have the money. this product will for sure leave you with a bitter taste in your mouth if you never tried VR before. quest3 gives people a much better perspective as to what VR is and will be in the future. i bet most people that tried those cellphone VR addons probably think that's what VR is as well and would never consider getting a Q3 or something better down the line. also the apple ecosystem and their hatred for third parties should be more than enough tell to never get anything apple related period.

I’m surprised you didn’t cover the Black Magic Design announcement of a professional 8K 90FPS camera for immersive video including end to end professional video processing and compression. I see this as opening the floodgates for more high quality immersive video, not just for Apple Vision Pro.

nice, just take it easy on all the Apple stuff, I am never going back to being trapped in their golden cage after seeing what Android + Linux offers. I guess most of us are onto Gaming + some productivity, Apple won't ever be big on gaming due to insane greed in their webshop, even if they temporarily tried to get some games, that will never be a success (just like the last 20+ years)

I wonder how many times they had to exchange those clear quest 3's to get one that didn't have dead pixels. I'm on my SEVENTH quest 3 exchange due to multiple dead pixels in each one and I still haven't gotten one without them. I'm about to just give up. I'd like Meta to just test a bunch of them and send me one certified no dead pixels. I get that a lot of consumer electronics have an acceptable level of dead pixels before it's considered defective (TV's and Monitors), but it's way different when it's something strapped to your face with your eyes inches from those pixels. A single dead pixel, let alone multiple, ruins the whole immersion and the standard should be much higher.

I am glad i just bought Blade and Sorcery on the meta app. I decided i wanted the 1.0 release so bought the PCVR version. Haven't played yet co's my wireless seems to always be awful and setting up a cable link is too much work lol.

3:40 I'm glad Carmack failed. Seeing what Apple brought to the table this year, Eye/Face tracking is a MUST feature, not just for performance gimicks, but UI/UX design, and social aspects (seriously being abel to smile at people in VR is really hecking nice. (DFR is nice too, if you have OpenXR toolkit with PC it works REALLY good) Picked up a Quest Pro for $220 a couple months ago and now i spend ungodly hours in Blemder adding full face tracking to avatars XD

Hey! I'm an audio engineer and sound major in university. The mixing on your mic sounds pretty decent already ngl, but I might put a low shelf at around 200Hz -3dB or so. You could do with just a bit more mid frequencies shining through some of the mud. Also if you have a gate on your voice you might want to tune it down just a tad. Some of the clarity sibilance and fine details are lost at the beginnings and ends of your words. I would also increase the release time on your gate just a little to get a more realistic ending to your sentences and words ;) I hope this helps!! Thank you for the videos, they're honestly my favourite for quest news :)
