@@MarMaxGaming True lol I guess no one has tried this before. But I love your vids man I’ve been watching them for about a year now, wish I found your content sooner cause it feels like the good ol days on KZfaq when there were simple videos of people playing games. @@MarMaxGaming yeah I love how raw and calm your videos are that don’t have too much editing. It’s just you, the game, and maybe a fun little skit in the mix. It’s very fun and relaxing to watch your videos. I’m glad there’s still channels like yours that play retro games for the games themselves and don’t see them as a money maker like these scum bag resellers do. I absolutely hate it when resellers look for older people who don’t know better and then give them like 40 bucks for a giant bin of games worth $3000+ or something. Love this list and as an avid Star Fox 64 player, I agree with a lot of it. The only one I would change would be Venom (Easy) at #1 and Sector Z at #2 solely because playing normally without charging your laser/aiming bombs in good spots will not be enough to even have a chance at achieving the the medal, to the extent my younger self thought it was impossible for years whereas I did manage to get the Sector Z medal without needing to master charging up the laser for better combos. I never got a medal on Venom (Easy) at all by playing casually in the many years I've played Star Fox 64 and never wanted to attempt it until recently where I just barely got 201 hits after 4 tries. Though I do completely understand why you'd think Sector Z is worse because Venom (Easy) isn't required for 100% and Sector Z has a degree of chance to it with your teammates (& Katt) getting in the way of ruining your chance for the medal by helping destroying the missiles on top of the limited enemy count.

Can't agree with a lot of this. Area 6 is a tough level, but the 300 point mark is pretty easy to clear. Same for Zoness and its 250, though not quite as easy as Area 6. Bolse is actually surprisingly tricky, even if you come from a harder route to put Star Wolf there. Ditto for Katina, you'd think that the flood of targets. But the absolute bad call here was Meteo not even making the top ten. He talks about it being easy because of the warp zone...aren't you ignoring the part about "what you need to do to get there" being part of the difficulty? I've been playing this game for years and I've only gotten from Meteo to Katina a handful of times. Granted, I usually play for high score so I don't even go to Meteo (though common wisdom is that Meteo-Katina-Sector X is better for score than Sector Y-Aquas-Zoness), but yeah. Almost never actually make that warp zone. My rankings: 1. Venom 1 if you're actually going to count that lol 2. Titania 3. Sector Z 4. Solar 5. Meteo 6. Bolse 7. Katina 8. Venom 2 9. Aquas 10. Zoness 11. Corneria 12. Area 6 13. Sector Y 14. Macbeth 15. Sector X 16. Fichina, duh. Granted, I'm talking about this coming from years of practice. But for the most part, it does relate to my experience as a kid, too. Fichina was obviously my first ever medal, Sector X was my second, and I'm pretty sure Macbeth was my third. I think Corneria was my fourth. Area 6 is one that I'll admit, it gets easier with practice. I have it low because I've practiced it so many times, trying to not only beat the score, but annihilate it. ...And, yes, Titania was the last one I needed to unlock Expert, not Sector Z. Oh, and of course Venom 2 was an early one. Venom 2 is interesting because it's nothing but boss battles, so it's just "beat the boss quickly". You've got very little leeway; you don't actually need to beat all four Star Wolf members quickly enough for the best bonus, but you need to get at least 3 out of four at maximum.
@MarMaxGaming
@MarMaxGaming 10 күн бұрын
@@CyberchaoX no worries at all! you don’t have to lol It’s always interesting to hear from other players! We both played the same game, and we have our vastly different reasons for our ranks. I would never put Titania at #2, that’s just silly to me… it didn’t take that much effort to clear, really. And the 300 & 250 for A6 and Zoness were a lot more challenging overall than stages you placed above them from my perspective. I had my gameplay express the rankings, with the script… thanks for watching and commenting!

I'll be honest between Perfect Dark and Goldeneye 007 I'd say Perfect Dark has the harder cheats. Sure Goldeneye has some that are on the unfair side and you need to play bonus missions to unlock 2 of them but at the end of the day it's more simplistic nature and more well-known cheese strats make it more bearable. Perfect Dark doesn't get the same luxury. Even though you don't need to play any of the bonus missions for the cheats, You still need to play the shooting range to get all of them since that's where you unlock all of the guns from Goldeneye 007.
