It's just a extremely soft plastic that makes you believe you are saving the paint.

If this is LEGIT, it is only a temp fix...once you got enough damage from scratches then you get the NEW paint job and recover with this protective film. I have a BIG dog who is constantly scratching the paint off the back side of the bed of the truck...this would work for us. Once the film stopped working, get the new paint job. If it is real, cuz idk if it is...? And if it is legit...I'm willing to try.
