Kit is around 1300€ starting price, you’ll need some other things as well but don’t expect to pass German TÜV with this kit. You’ll need bigger brakes, chasis reinforcement as well as rear end reinforcement. You’ll also have to comply with emission standards but that’s a lot easier on older cars.

Some turbo kit sellers in the UK wont sell without you having a balancing machine. If I was doing it at home I would mark the shaft and fan to make sure they all lined up with the factory set up. Still a lot of risk for all the work involved. They sell the cartridge on EBay already balanced which saves money but the bearing kits are half the price.

Ive heard some tuner-company makes a turbokit that works with the stock 103 and it handles 15 psi with the original bosch injection. I do not know about the m104, but they are close though. 🤷🏼♂️
