where on their website were you able to change your meal to a vegan one? I'm flying with KML soon too but I cant find the option to change the meal, it only says that I get lunch and dinner and their customer help model is not useful at all.

This was a while ago, but sometimes you can do it on the app. When all else fails call customer service to make sure they change it. Just make sure it’s more than 24 hours before your flight. :)

Well at least I'm seeing this now, I really appreciate the points you brought up! I only just started watching her channel within the past year or so, but even then, some of the things she says left me like 🤔 But as you said, we're always learning and we're learning from each other - so I just hope this is a learning moment! To add on to this, when you mentioned your comment being deleted, even after she stated that she wanted the convo to continue in the comments, I have witnessed this first hand from sooo many big KZfaqrs - e.g. (no hate to this creator, I really enjoy his content) but Jarvis Johnson had a sponsored post from this 'orbeez' type water gun brand, and he never mentioned anything about the waste, so I made a comment along with a few others, and when I checked back a few days later... the comments were all gone! Its very sad how people will choose to turn a blind eye for some cash and clout.

Thanks for the video! It was really helpful. Personnaly, what makes me afraid the most is not knowing where we are going and what will be the future with climate change, some day it is hard to keep hope and not harassing myself with catastrophic scenarios where everything is horrible. Sometimes I cannot sleep with this idea than in 10/15 years, everything I know will probably be changing and that the life will be maybe more difficult than today. It is hard to accept that and continue to live with this idea.

While I won't judge your personal choices, I do think you weren't very well informed by your practitioner. Ferritin isn't an enzyme, it's your iron stores. Nothing matters more than your stores and while it is common, it certainly shouldn't be used an excuse for having low iron. This can become a serious issue if you end up with PPH at birth (thinking worst case scenario here). Please know that not all iron supplements aren't equal and again it sounds like your practitionner didn't know since you didn't mention anything about that, which is a shame. Any pregnant women out there, AVOID iron sulfate as this is the cheapest and least absorbable form of iron. You might one of the lucky that can absorb such a form but if I were you, I would look into a glycinate form which won't cause digestive disturbances.

I really like shelbie so I clicked on this video knowing I wasn’t going to be happy about what you had to say. That being SAIC I think you very respectfully laid out your arguments for why you think this video had its faults and I do think you have a point. It is clear that big plastic is behind those studies and for a good reason, it really found in favor of their product. So who knows how much we can trust. That being said when I watched that video I remember looking up the sponsor and if I remember correctly they do a lot of studies on the plastic at the beginning of its life which is one area I don’t know much about. I recall looking at a comparison guide for cat litter and it showed the thin plastic as utilizing less resources than the cardboard box packaging which made me feel a little relieved because I had just switched my cats from a clay litter to a walnut shell litter as I wanted to start composting their waste and there was only one brand on the market for compostable materials that was in cardboard and they were much more expensive. It did make me feel like I wasn’t s horrible person for choosing the plastic packaging to save money as it was already double what I was previously paying. I do think that the video did have the effect where you do start to feel more comfortable with plastic but I don’t think that’s the first time she has mentioned that plastic isn’t as bad when you look at it’s start of life cycle. I do think part of the problem with those studies is that they show how much water is used to make something and I feel like the water they are accounting for in the cardboard also includes the water the tree needed to survive but a lot of that water does come from rain and we do need trees so I’d really like to just see what’s used after the tree is cut down to get a fair comparison. When I watched that video I didn’t really feel like it wasn’t her thoughts and feelings being portrayed but I do see your point about how it does make plastic seem like a more acceptable product because that was definitely my take by the end. That being said I do still think plastic should be avoided as much as possible but it did make me feel like in the instances where I absolutely cannot avoid it, it maybe isn’t the worst thing in the entire world. But I really think a study to show what happens after the consumer is done using the product would be useful. How long does the plastic stay on this earth, can it be recycled, what can it be remade into, if it stays in the landfill what negative impact does it have on our earth. What’s the afterlife cycle of the alternative, how many resources does it take to remake it into another product (does it take just as many resources to create that cardboard litter box with recycled cardboard as it does virgin cardboard)? I’d just like more information to really determine what is the best package out there because it’s really unclear. I’d also really like to know what the packaging is that bulk grocery items come in because we see it without packaging but there is packaging behind closed doors that we are completely unaware of. I’d also like an analysis of the resources to pick up an item in store vs to have it shipped directly to your home. Which is better ? I saw a video of hers earlier today ask this question and she said we really can’t be sure so I’d love more direct information on this. I wish more companies were transparent because this stuff is important and it’s too hard for the average consumer to figure out
