Ive messed this up by rushing and combined the condensed milk, vanilla and melted on the stove. Now I call it moose sh$&s 🤣. I love moose farts though now that I do it right 🤣

I followed the recipe tonight and the temp in the written recipe called for 325F and the cake was in the oven for a total of 80 minutes the last 15 min at 350f and the centre of the cake was still wet. What happened? Looks like such a beautiful cake in the pics!😢

This looks delicious but would be known as a boiled fruit cake in England. Christmas cakes in England normally start with creamed butter and sugar. Once baked the cake is covered with marzipan and Royal icing .

New subscriber, just because of that awesome house. 😀 Just kidding. This was a very good video. Don’t mean to sound picky, but it would be so nice if you post the recipe in the drop-down box. I hate going to look for them everywhere else because I don’t have the time for that. So to be quite honest I probably won’t be doing the recipes. Just being honest I’m sorry.

Trying to make this and my sauce won't thicken. Microwaved milk for 2 minutes like she says, but the written directions say 4-5. Could that be the problem? Really sad, I was so looking forward to this..

I made this cake with my 8 year old twin granddaughters and they wanted gumdrops instead of cherries. It turned out wonderful and they were so proud of it. I just created a great memory for them and I hope they pass it on when they are older just as you have done. Thank you

I tried this recipe today, Thanksgiving! Made recipe to a "T'". Filling leaked under the crust. Help! What did I do wrong. I have a gooey mess!
@lovelight9164 Жыл бұрын
The same thing happened to me, I think making sure the parchment paper is taller than the filling around the entire baking pan and make sure the crust is sealed all the way around. I luckily had only one end seep under the crust. I ate the mess ups and took the ones that were dry on the bottom to Thanksgiving and they were a big hit. Try again they are worth it.

On the photo posted, the bars looked lighter was it just edited that’s why it was lighter? Just asking.. I made it today and it was good. I used dark corn syrup. I wanna make it again tomorrow and will use light corn syrup. I like the look on your photo how it’s lighter in color. Thank you for sharing the recipe.

looks delicioes! that looked like alot more than 1/2 cup of sugar
@RockrecipesFoodandPhotos2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! There is 1/2 cup of sugar in the shortbread base, and an additional one and a half cups in the lemon custard. But it is a large recipe and yields several dozen cookies.

Use a wine bottle as a rolling pin. If you keep it cold in the refrigerator, it will help keep the dough cold too.
