One minute, that changes my life. I run every day only one minute. But on average it is 40 minutes. Every great journey begins with the first step. Thanks Stephen

It was inspired by his methodology (and I quoted him in the video), but it isn't exactly the same approach. For example, I couldn't quit gambling after reading his book on the subject, but did with this video's method.

@MiniHabitsOfficial You're absolutely right. I've read most of his books on other subjects and it's not even close to the original one. I think your method captures the good parts from the original book. I'm gonna try it. Thanks!

我是你中国的读者,我通过你的书开始练习跑步,从以前跑一圈都累的人现在可以轻松跑完7圈。原因很简单,从最小的目标开始完成,而不是意志力。 谢谢你的书!

This is good. I have a bad habit of eating out. I tend to go for junk food when I am stressed and depressed. But it's a lot of money we could be saving for retirement or my son's medical expenses. And maybe... Just maybe... It is contributing to the stress and depression. I'm going to try a month of not eating out and see how I feel.

Good job giving those poisons up. They destroy your body, mind, and soul. Not to mention hurt your wallet too.

Thanks Stephen, I love your books. I also appreciate your humor and that shows up here too. Your books have helped me a lot and I am explaining "Momentum" to my friends and family and recommending that books too. Momentum is awesome.

I guess the AI ability will improve with time, the AI is only as good as the data that it holds. Most people read without actively seeking to understand. I do believe in time it might be a good manipulation tool 😅.

but sometimes, my friend, is even worse than gpt. it is not about judging. but when I share my bad feelings, instead of helping me, they will talk about their own issues and just give me a love emjoi to support my bad feelings. I just feel so angry and disapointed. on the other hand, gpt will talk something that's about me, and can be kind.

I like their version of point #4 too - and I decided to stop watching. With any advice, it's always easy to poke holes at it depending on where you're coming from or how you're feeling that day.

I differ with you on point #3. I learn WAY MORE from FAILURE than I do success. I don't think I will ever LIKE it, but I do respect it - and it makes me appreciate success much more when it finally comes. I've noticed that success can be easy to take for granted if failures do not happen occasionally.
@MiniHabitsOfficial
@MiniHabitsOfficial Жыл бұрын
It's important to keep in mind that this is an article about building confidence. There was nothing wrong with any of the advice, but it was extremely unfocused. Failure can be learned from, but it does not increase confidence like success does. A willingness to fail is of course important for life in general. "Embracing failure" as this suggests sounds like a twisted version of that. Again, the pieces of advice were valuable individually, but not as an answer to the question. It's also SEVEN things. Who is going to follow all seven? A lot more people have built confidence with simpler and more direct plans (such as Mini Habits).

Thanks for that Steve! We need some reasoned analysis of AI performance . . . as it helps to moderate expectations - and puts the responsibility back with us where it must be.

Thanks for this video. You do such a great job bringing yourself into what you have to share but at the same time it's not all about you. This video is funny and random but keeps me watching. I was sad to hear about your Dad when your e-mails stopped last year and was glad to see you bounce back. It's always good to take some time to grieve and reset.

Thanks for the video. It made me laugh but also reiterated what you wrote in the e-mail. My 12-year-old daughter watched it with me and thought it was funny. Then we watched another one you had done recently.

This is the first video I have seen of yours as I just found your books in the last week. It is nice to hear the praise and positive effect you have had on so many lives. I have been telling friends about your books and website even though I have not read any yet. I will be purchasing my first book next week. My friend in Canada has ordered two of your books. I enjoyed your humor on this video so much. I will be forwarding the link to others. Thank you.

Breaking projects into smaller parts is helpful, but smaller doesn't necessarily make something "feel" urgent to the brain. That's my struggle.
