The really one isn't like this. 1st. OK, FRY THE POTATOES, but alone 2nd. When the potatoes are cooked at least 50%, add the onions over the poratoes and don't mix. Cover and cook low to medium for about 5 minutes. Chek and stir. The remanent us like you made. GOD BLESS YOU

This is the tastiest, most nutritious and healthy meal in existence. My death row meal would be tortilla, with a salad and a glass of white wine.

Can you make these with the Grand biscuits as well?
@BreakfastForOne4 күн бұрын
For danishes, crescent dough might be a better choice because biscuit dough can be crumblier and more prone to sogginess from fillings.

What kind of rice are you using?
@BreakfastForOne4 күн бұрын
I used short grain white rice for this recipe. Medium grain white rice (such as Calrose) would also work well.

I'm not to certain I could prepare all the ingredients before breakfast but I do think I will make these for dinner, maybe with a savoury bechamel poured over. How about served cold with a salad?

Id do double layer of potatoe! And let it cool completely. And then add a cool creamy greek yogurty garlicy dill spread on top. Dill and potatoes are a perfect pair! Yummm thanks for the imaginative new idea!

Doesn’t hitting the kimchi kill the healthy probiotic ?
@BreakfastForOne4 күн бұрын
You're right, heat kills probiotics, but you still get the amazing flavor and some vitamins & fiber!

What can I substitute cream with ? Some flour and milk ?
@BreakfastForOne4 күн бұрын
Milk can be used as a substitute, but it will result in a thinner consistency and less richness. Half-and-half would be a closer substitute for this recipe.

Can rice vinegar be used since I can’t find the rice cooking wine. Only mirin I’m finding is syrupy the one I purchased when you made this recipe was awesome so now I’m not happy with the so called new brand. Anyway can you help me! Thank You 🤗
@BreakfastForOne13 күн бұрын
Rice vinegar is a bit too acidic for mirin in this recipe. It might make the dish too tart. Just using water will work best to keep the flavor profile balanced!

What we could use instead of rice wine??
@BreakfastForOne16 күн бұрын
Since it was primarily used to thin out/dilute the soy sauce, you can simply substitute it with water.

Can I use milk instead of heavy cream?
@BreakfastForOne17 күн бұрын
This recipe uses heavy cream for a richer taste and skips the need for a roux (flour and butter mixture) since it's microwave-friendly. Milk wouldn't thicken the sauce quite as well. :(

I was served a dish with that shaved bonito flakes on my food at a Japanese restaurant. It was so freaky and repellant to me. Those flakes move like live worms on top of your hot food. to this day, it gives me the shudders when I think of it.

How to soften the rice spring roll?
@BreakfastForOne17 күн бұрын
Just give the rice paper a quick dip in warm water, no soaking needed! It'll soften up perfectly for wrapping without getting too flimsy.
@spocksvulcanbrain21 күн бұрын
Good technique except there really is no reason to let the egg/potato mix sit in that bowl for 20 minutes. As soon as it's well mixed, pour it back into the pan and continue as shown in the video.
