It’s a good thing the cartel growers never saw this video, or they’d run out of money.

Bonus Tip at 04:45 Seriously? You tell us to use a Collgate toothbrush but failed to mention which one of the dozen or so models they offer... e.g., the Extra Clean, 360 Optic White, 360 Whole Mouth, Slim Soft, Renewal, Sensitive, ZigZag, Gum Health , Premier Clean, Total Plus, Double Action, Wave Comfort etc, etc. Not to mention each of these models are available with different levels of bristle stiffness - Ultra Soft, Soft, Medium, Hard hard! In other words the bonus tip was of little value.

I’m sorry to disappoint and now have decided the Oral-iO Series 10 is the way to go. Although it’s $100 at Target, it’s by far the best toothbrush I’ve ever used. Wait? Are you referring to a toothbrush for tile? Then yes, any of the dozen you mentioned will work 👍🏼

The gentleman who gave me this tip works for Oatey and has been a registered master plumber for over 40 years. My job is to learn, vet tips like this one, use my own judgment based on experience and either share the tip or not. I liked his recommendation, used it and see value in it. My job is also to ignore ego (my own or someone else’s) in service of helping others

If your mosaic is thinner then you will have to knock the ridges down first or get mud in the joints. Also, 95% isn’t enough coverage on a water-out system. These days they are needing 100% coverage.
@HomeRepairTutor17 сағат бұрын
The TCNA only requires 95%, but as you can see it’s closer to 100%
@chipburns412313 сағат бұрын
@@HomeRepairTutor true, but the TCNA is always behind just like antivirus software and vaccines! Your coverage is beautiful btw!

Can you use self leveling on Kerdi floor membrane ?😊
@HomeRepairTutor18 сағат бұрын
Unfortunately no, all self leveling has to be done before that

Thank you! I’m going to try this on my own in a shed conversion.. this was very helpful. It will be my first time doing something like this and on my own. I thought to hire people but it was way more then I can afford. Thank you!! Hope I am entered into the raffle as well for the $100 because I could really use it right now .. blessings

Are you not worried about putting less than 2” tile on kerdi pan?
@HomeRepairTutorКүн бұрын
This is a 2” mosaic but great question. You can put any size tile over a Schluter shower pan. Many people confuse the less than 2” tile rule with the DITRA recommendation. DITRA has cutback cavities and the pan does not. The concern with tiles less than 2” over DITRA is them collapsing into the cutback cavity if there is not enough mortar under the tile.
@davidjessee7701Күн бұрын
Give me Schluter anyday!! The kerdy is applied with unmodified thinset right over Sheetrock! then your ready for tile!!!!! Your system has too many steps , takes too long,

I like this idea, I’ve always been used to setting the toilet and before caulking flush the toilet a minimum of 10 times to see if water would show beyond the toilet. With this you can pull the paper and be sure without 1000 tests True ingenuity

I've heard the paste pulls the solder into the connection but it just never seemed to do so for me. Possibly because I'm not pasting the interior of the larger fitting?

Teflon tape and pipe dope*** would be correct terms not mattering what brand as long as it is safe for potable water. Dope lubes the pipe for easy tightening and loosening for service. Teflon tape helps create a seal

I always flush the lines thru a brass nipple and a hose bib (laundry faucet) that’s threaded into the wingback 90’s and then push the cartridges in the diverter along with the mixing valve. That way I can ensure they both operate how they should and are full of water for the 24 hour leak test
