For some, it's a mystery. Others say it's kinda sad how they talk about this young man at the table, pass the black eyed peas, pass the biscuits please.😮😮

It's a song about edging. BTW, you can use the space bar to pause and play. The captions are misspelling the word come... get it?

The part about killing a man is a metaphor for killing the man he felt society wanted him to be he in a way came out as gay without actually saying that but that seems to be what he meant.

The man that was speaking to him actually was trying to molest him and when they said toward the end they threw something off the bridge that was the man that was trying to or molested him and she helped do it but never told he jumped in the river because he couldn't handle the situation that's what I think it was in the movie. There is a movie I don't know if it's exactly like the song though but I believe that's what happened in the movie. Robbie Benson was the actor that played Billy Joe

The song is about the life of excess at the time in California, on how you can very easily become trapped in the drug scene with no where to go or rely on anyone to help because everyone was part of that scene at the time.

Yes you are correct, it is change, then in Eeast and West Germany, the Wall coming down. Hopefully we can realize something like this in the US. Song is timeless, not many are like that. I hope that you would check out Simon and Garfunkel or Disturbed, Sounds of Silence, you will love it, it hits home with everyone with a heart.

You just witnessed one of the best rock bands of all time, my absolute favorite to be exact. The band members are Vocals- Sammy Hagar Guitar - Eddie Van Halen Drums - Alex Van Halen Bass - Michael Anthony Eddie is well known one of the greatest guitar players of all time, The GOAT! He does things to his guitars most ppl dream of. Both Eddie & Alex are brothers & founders of the band. Van Halen has had 3 singers originally with David Lee Roth, then came Sammy & then Gary Cherone. You should definitely check out more Van Halen. Also Eddie's son Wolfgang Van Halen is a successful singer, song writer & musician in his own right. He plays all of the instruments on his albums & has a touring band. His band is called Mammoth WVH. I will be glad to give any suggestions on either band!
