About the little caddy, I despise having to strip paint off. What would happen if you had just spray painted over the paint that was already there? Would that have not worked?

I think that’s almost always an option. In my case since I was able to get the outside cleaned up so well, I wanted the inside to be equally cleaned up.

Hi Jennifer! Yes, a grown woman that has a lot of creepy props because I build a haunted house for the neighborhood to enjoy on Halloween. A labor of love for all to enjoy and the side effect is having a prop in my craft room.

Can you use the cheaper crayons air dry clay or is it recommended to use a higher quality product? Thank you!

I think any type would work fine. I have been told to make sure that anything made with air dry clay is stored in a temperature controlled environment as it can break down when exposed to heat or cold over time.

Hi Linda again , you got me curious regarding the sea glass bottles. I did come across another channel that addressed the "bubbles" however she didn't actually say how she got rid of them. She was using small mason jars, so am assuming she may of "wiped" them down or something. She actually had the same issue w/the bubbles on one of her jars, but being it was on the bottom it wasn't a big deal. She also "baked" them at 250 so not sure that made a difference too?? I can't post her channel link as YT will remove my comment but her channel name is "stuff moms have time for" & the title of the video is "DIY Sea glass bottles". But as I was thinking about this technique I wonder if you could use a thin long paint brush to not only wipe the bottle down but possibly use it to smooth the bubbles out too IDK, could cause streaking but again have no idea. Just thinking & posting my comment out loud 😉 Would love to try this on some wine bottles I've been storing to make something out of so this would be cool to do w/them.

You made me chuckle when you said you're NOT an artist of that nature! Um I beg to differ. Your sea shells look very realistic & I would of NEVER been able to of figured out what colors to use to get them to look like you did. You definitely have a natural ability & appreciate you sharing your natural talent & creativity with us. All the projects turned out great!

Just gorgeous!! The clay was a better choice than the resin because you can do those partial moulds, and I think clay looks more aged. Fabulous!
