I've never had one get to this point but. I'd just buy a new mower. My current one is the cheapest mower Lowes sold at the time. It's lasted over 7 years. Starts each season with the first pull. I remove the fuel at the end of each season and change the oil, clean the filter and spark plug at the start.

I have! But it's hard to pick-up a riding mower!!! I just kick it and tell it that I'm going to take it to the curb and get a good mower!!!! It didn't work...I have to put on a new fuel filter....

Ah yes, let me just stick my fingers under the machine with probably dull fast moving blades under it (I know the engine wasn’t running yet but you’d be amazed at how fast it can start up when you’re holding the throttle after pulling the rip cord several times, sometimes the engine will start right when you think it’s gonna stop trying)
