As someone who grew up in the "Gossip Girl" era, I never heard of this show. And I think that's probably part of it. GG came out years before this and by the time this came out, its demographic was no longer interested. Teens in the 2010s weren't into the same stuff, that was more twilight era. Sappy romance, fantasy all that was more popular. This is more for the skins crowd, early/mid 2000's, unfortunately just beyond its time. I really liked Finding Carter on MTV though.

Apparently they made a weird spin off called the 90s show sometimes I hate when they try to remake shows sometimes just leave it be smh

One thing I loved was Matty friendship with Sadie it’s so nice and wholesome.

I watched this in middle school completely unaware it was a sex and the city prequel. Only recently, 10 years later, I've started watching SATC as an adult. lol, I was obsessed with it, I had a huge crush on Sebastian, I loved it so much!!

I was so obsessed with them as a child. I recently remembered I used to have them as my OTP and now I'm spending my birthday (in one week) just watching them !! I'll even have my cake with them like I loved them so badly ToT

Honestly Sadie made it unwatchable for me. I couldn’t stand her and her unnecessary attitude. Even now knowing about her backstory I still don’t like her. Trauma isn’t an excuse to treat people like crap and be an asshole towards others that did nothing to you. She was just a bully who came off completely selfish.

Despite the ending this is one of my all time favorite shows! I just finished watching it fully last night. Even though the first time I watched it I thought Maddy was a douchebag after doing this rewatch made me kinda wish him and Jenna would of gotten together in the end. I love this show so much that I plan eventually whenever I have kids naming one of my daughters after Jenna Hamilton.
