Thank you for your excellent explanation. I have neck and back issues and developed numbness in my hands over past several years. Hand splints really didn’t help so pretty sure where that’s coming from. Good info to share with my Orthopedist.

I am so glad I stumbled across this video. I twisted my knee and after a couple of weeks, I saw the doctor. However, having poor insurance, I declined an mri and pt, which I can find online. Prior to the tear, I had gained 20 lbs which I believe have settle all in my thighs and knees. I have lipodema , so this has been an issue all my life 😢. I should add that this 20 lb weight gain came after a 96 pound weight loss. 😢. Every time I try to go back to some exercise, I get worse. I am wearing a knee brace daily now after only wearing for a short time. I think I have been re injuring it. I turn 65 in 6 months where i will have Medicare. I inherited my legs from my mom and I remember that she had knee surgery. So that will probably be in my future. Thank you for this video!!!

I landed on your channel because I'm looking for treatments for finger tingliung and hand numbness. I have had MS for the past 30+ year. Right from my first diagnosis I started to loose touch and feeling in my fingers. Even today I can't zip or button my clothing. My first neurologist in 1989 warned me that there was no treatment for the numbness and lack of funtional satisfaction. So I'm wondering where are the potential treatments for my problems today? I'm 77 , and my MS is in remission but I still sufer from finger and hand discomfort. Can you help?

Gabapentin affected me big time It screwed me over big time for 9 years now! I only took two 100 mg pills Biggest mistake of my life Never had neuropathy until I took those two pills. It was instant when I woke up. It felt like my toes were tied extremely tightly with dental floss the second I stepped out of my bed the next morning. Four hours after I took one pill I woke up feeling like I was going to have a heart attack but my arms were straight up in the air. I wanted to take aspirin because I truly was scared and in severe pain. Never have I ever experienced this type of pain after a four hour nap that was the best sleep I’ve ever had in my life. But once I woke up I paced the floor in a panic because my arms were not coming down and the pain in both my shoulders felt like two huge bowling balls were spinning around in my shoulders. I was desperately afraid I was going to die. After 15-20 minutes pacing in my bedroom with my arms up and shoulders in agony, my arms slowly loosened where I could get some much needed relief. At that point I was extremely awake but devastatingly exhausted like never before my thought was I need to take another gabapatin l to sleep as soundly as I did five hours previously. I took the other gabapentin, fell right back to sleep. I knew then I was addicted big time. But that next morning when my feet touched the floor my feet were like needles and my big toes felt like they were going to fall off my feet and the second toe would be under my foot feeling so uncomfortable. I actually thought my big toe was tied up in dental floss because that was how it felt walking to the bathroom was hell. This lasted for at least a month each day got better but the neuropathy continued under my feet. A year it took for the big toe to feel somewhat better. Then my left arm started with a burning nerve damage feeling. I could not believe this doctor told me to work up to 10,000 mg then slowly taper off. I knew I was addicted to the pain sleep relief so I stopped at two 100mg pills. That was enough for me to never believe in drugs. To never have foot issues then two pills later and I still have neuropathy in my feet. And occasionally some light nerve damage in my left arm. I wish these doctors and big pharma would stop experimenting on people. They were prescribing it for anything and everything. I’m still angry 😡 2024

I recently was told that I have ddd. From what I understand, you’re saying that if we had a steroid injection and my case, L4 L5, L5 S1, we should be doing physical therapy, stretching and exercises while the inflammation is gone to avoid the pain from coming back. Is this correct?

Are these synovial cysts the same as a Tarlov cyst? I have a feeling the answer is no. My TC is caused by a hole in one of the thecal sac layers that causes a bubble of CSF. It's at L4-L5-S1. I wish there were more research figuring out what causes a Tarlov and how to treat it without surgery.

Wish I was lucky enough to just have the numbness I have all of to but the pain is debilitating. Not much pint I’m going on with that pain. Surgery for herniated disc in 2012 after being neglected by my “doctor” fixed me but was diagnosed with permanent sciatic damage due to nothing being down about it after 12 GP visits. Now 11 years later 4 plus months of pain that won’t go away. doctor never asks how my surgery went once or how i was doing over the 11 plus years or that i should be doing things to prevent this from coming back. Good ol doctors. Funny how I diagnosed myself for years and low and behold I was the right one didn’t need school for that hhmmm

I broke my left tibia and fibula in a ski accident 6 years ago. I had a plate on my tibia which I have since had removed. My ankle cracks a lot but never used to. 8 weeks ago I fractured my right patella. It's healing well but since then my left foot and leg has been tingling and there;s also numbness and my ankle feels stiff. It feels very disconcerting even though it's not painful. I'm not sure if it has been triggered since I broke my right patella due to my left leg working harder? i'm going to get a referral and also look into acupuncture. Not sure if there is nerve damage but before I broke my right patella, I didn't have tingling and numbness in my left leg and foot. Any advice?

It helps. Only thing is I started having brain fog really bad. So I’ve been weening myself off. I was on 1500mg. I’m down to 900mg. My doctor told me to ween myself off but did not tell me how much at a time so I’m doing it myself. My brain fog has eased up a lot. But my back pain has not. I’m 70.
