So they get a cut from the contributions of the people who are in debt. This is paid by the Financial institutions that issued the debt. They perpetuate the paradigm.

Don’t get yourself in a position where “vultures “ circle over you! Don’t spend more than you earn! YOU are liable for your own actions and spending! If your credit rating goes down, guess who you have to blame? I am finding it hard to comprehend how people get themselves in this situation in the first place! I have ALWAYS worked in retail, not a highly paid employment, I have never been overdrawn, let alone in debt! People just don’t want advice anymore/ they want money instead of! It’s a cycle and a habit!

Proud to say I spent 10 years working for the StepChange systems team, including being part of the project team team that set up DMPs in the charity. Testaments like Alannah's bring home the value to individuals in what StepChange does.

How to deal with a bailiff who are claiming for a debt you know doesn't exist? A company called resolvecall are trying to get £1200 for an unpaid loan (from my own bank no less) that I never had, the bank and my credit report confirms this.

How can Council Tax be marked as a debt if you have not agreed to enter into an agreement with the council in the first place?....surely there has to be a contract or agreement entered into initially for them to then mark it as a debt? What if you decline council services when they send you a new Council Tax Request for Payment?

Lately i study a mr christhofer hauser on youtube. Hes from the usa. But the law is kinda simular all across western nations. And there is for one thing the coupon. You should look this up. In laymans terms when u receive a bill, at the bottom of it the last part is a coupon for the amount owned on the bill. These suckers are double dipping wich is illegal. But u pay the bill than they claim the coupon so they get payed twice. All us have to do is draw a square with in there the same amount as on the bill and send it back by certified mail. Now when u have the receipt u have the proof u send it and they recived it and by postal law that means they accepted your payment. Im a dumbass and i dont live in the uk nor the usa. But postallaw is an international law. In fact u cant have a country without a postoffice.
