How’d you get the dump pipe out without taking the turbo off , there’s a long bolt on the turbo that doesn’t let you slip the dumby off without hitting the firewall

Great video as i am in the process of buying a Rebel 2 cleaner. In your video you didn't say it the humps on the wheels needed to be off-set by say 180 degrees or should they be aligned? Also has the rebel 2 been put out with the newer non splined bearings and tougher drives shafts? what is the reason for a mark 2? There is also a new Worrier model. Would this be in fact the Rebel 3 As they are marketed at the same price point.

No both wheels are independent of each other so it won't matter. As for the newer models I don't know sorry I only researched this machine when i needed to do the rebuild. Still running on the rebuild from this video. This machine runs 4hrs a day 365 days a year. Happy to spend a few dollars every couple of years until the main gear box or body fails. Thanks for checking out the channel.

geez your place/workshop is a mess... be better man, clean up your shit lol... personally the condition of that pump IMO is not worth fixing considering time and costs to fix it, unless you think your time is worth nothing... these pumps are cheap, they are the lower end of the pump world... just buy a new pump and be done with it..

Indeed it is a mess. My family and house Reno’s come first. As for the pump it did another 2 seasons until the housing got to thin and sprung a leak,now running a Davey pump. Thanks for watching.

Do these pumps just work off a vacuum sensor from the intake manifold? Judging by the butterfly valve? Im looking into getting a 2006 isuzu 3.0 with 193k km. Are they reliable?

Hey mate. Ive got a 2006 ra rodeo. Same engine as this. Runs completely fine except up hills. Drastically loses power quickly uphills and becomes gutless. When the fuel filter is changed it runs a little better up hills but not for long. Back to being gutless in no time. Could the fuel pump be the issue? Would i benefit from a new one? Cheers
@basketcasebuilds5712
@basketcasebuilds5712 5 ай бұрын
Hey, have you changed both filters? There is a water trap style under the vehicle along the chassis rail. Also is it hard to start? There is a check valve that fails that can cause grief but usually it happens with a no start engine. Here is a link - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rs6DobGEm63Nj6c.htmlsi=8Ab5mcA1fB_-pf48

The other part that wears on these is the large cam (360294) which is not part of the rebuilt kit but should be. I purchased a rebuild kit (360516) which is for the older Rebel cleaner 360275. My bearings are not splined either. I do wonder if these are the same size bearings for the wheels and Pentair just decided to use them for the spline shaft. I will measure during the rebuild and report back. Thanks for making this video. Very helpful.

Nice work, when I talked to the suppliers at Pentair they were pretty helpful and they told me the newer style bearings were heavier duty without the spline. Thanks for all your info and checking out the channel. 👌💯

Dude, the two smooth wheel bearings are just that for the wheels they’re not splined because they don’t go inside the vacuum.
@mtbbiker6401
@mtbbiker6401 8 ай бұрын
The two smooth bearings included in the rebuild kit are not for the wheels. They are for the drive as shown in the video. The bearings/bushings in the wheels are a different size.

Have looked at a few handyman repair vids. and found yours spot on, especially the diagnosis. Mine, a LTP750 is more or less the same setup and even though still pumping Ok makes the same noise as yours did. To get to the internal bearing how do you get inside. That bearing whatever at the front, did you have to force off. Once off does the front seal plate come off and is that shaft part included in the kit

Great video mate. I’ve just thrown a used pump in my rodeo and I can’t get fuel to the injectors. I have power to the pump and I lined up both timing marks and threw a bolt in the scissor gear. It’s almost like the internal shutoff solenoid isn’t letting fuel past. Fuel is primed up to the pump but not even a drip at the injector lines, which are all cracked open. I can’t have it 180degrees out of time, can I? I would assume it’s not possible as long as the timing marks are correctly aligned. I’d assume even if it was out, fuel would still spill from The injectors. I think I have a dud replacement pump.

Thanks for the info mate. I am about half way through that swamp myself. I am a bit thick but i cant seem to find the link for your supplier. I sourced some on the gold coast but $270 later and half the o rings are wrong.. just wondering if you could push me the link i know it is pretty academic now but did u notice that the o rings that you took off the injector sleeves are a different thickness to the ones u put back on. My kit came with the thinner ones and when i fitted them they sat down inside the groove and would not have sealed much at all. Once again, thanks for the video, much appreciated.
