Curious about how much the equipment costs! I know nothing about the industry, you mentioned 15g a day is half of what you should be getting, so 30g a day x 365 days a year is 10,950 grams or 24.14 pounds! 1 pound of gold is $28,273 so that's $682,520 (projected) a year?! I'm imagining maintenance and tool/machine purchases are quite expensive to upkeep, just think that nearly 700k of gold a year is quite an impressive number.

Watching from Zimbabwe, this is really insiteful, awesome to see the trummel working well and the sample relatively satisfactory.. Be happy to connect with any prospector and miner in my area or anyone interested.

So the mats are dearer then the diy materials/steel to build the machine? Absolutely disgusting. Thats a blackmailing tactic right their. But we are in the times of justifying piracy. These are 20 dollar matts shipped in by the container.

Not sure which is more impressive, your metal fab skills or your video fab skills. Nicely done!

Love your trommel. I plan on building something like it. We have a decent gold claim. We're just getting our equipment together to start mining.

I read you mentioned in one of your videos that it takes you a long time to edit. My suggestion, leave off the creative parts and just include the best most factual information.

I know perhaps some tool & die shops in windsor ont would love to have that classifier to copy! And your right about thr larger rocks,which ppl tend to toss,which might have gokd nuggets! I also noticed a lot of white coloured gravels in your tailings! Could it be quartz? It'd be interesting to see how much more gold or other precious metals you'd get if it went through a crusher! Do do assays on your tailings?

Good afternoon Sir So I’m looking to build my own Trommel similar to yours. So some questions here, where have you bought that trommel paper sheet template for cutting holes in pipe to mark out before cutting? And list of things you used like hydraulic pump, wheelsbearings and things like that would be so appreciated. I’m in Alaska Thanks for your help, and awesome video man.

At 26:24 did the guy that stole the gold and the mat ever get caught.? I felt hurt, I guess a person can actually get a touch of gold fever watching these shows. I even bought a metal detector and pan but my health just won't let me do it, believe me I tried. Watching your channel all that I can do for you is subscribe and give you a thumbs up. Hope your efforts are bountiful.

What size of pump and motor did u use for ur hydraulic system
@TheMiningChannel3 ай бұрын
Hey Matt. I used a 11 gpm hydraulic pump matched to a 400 rpm 20 gpm drive pump I had kicking around.
@matt62523 ай бұрын
Awesome ty and what rpm are u running the unit at.. tossing the idea for a trommel drive either hydraulic or gear drive.. for our unit almost the same size ..it's for our 2024 season in the cariboo..
@matt62523 ай бұрын
