That over the top make up represents what I resent about this trans movement. It reflects a version of women that is cartoonish, caricatured, restrictive, hyper feminized. As an elderly, gender non-conforming female, this represents all the constraints I hated my whole life - put on a dress, wear some make up, act more feminine, as if being a competent person is not enough.
