The joker is what society creates when everyone is against you. Hes not a villain, he’s just fed up on how hypocritical everyone is. Like he said “They're only as good as the world allows them to be. I'll show you. When the chips are down, these... these civilized people, they'll eat each other”

The Joker ones hit hard on reality especially the last one its true no one takes time to think about others lives and if some random person died on the sidewalk no one would even care that it happened it shows how horrible and self centered humans are

The villain will always be relatable because they accept their imperfections while the hero hides thiers behind a false smile and promise.

Im a forever dm. If im totally honest, im not a fan of the overall role. The responsibilities, being the ref, etc, its draining. However, something that vastly outweighs that burden for me, and it is for me, is getting to play the villain. There is something so intoxicating about crafting a foil to your players ideals, and putting everything you have into playing a broken person mentally. I wanna start by saying my villains are not usually 'right' by any means. Not ethically, objectively, or what have you. The keys to the best villains is making someone you can understand, but not agree with in a million years. You build the house of cards that is their world view on a purposefully strong foundation, but it will always be a house of cards that can be knocked over. Challenging my players ideals (whether that be their characters views, or their own if they have trouble getting into character) gives them something very close to home to anchor to, and pulls them in to arguing where they dont even feel like they are roleplaying. In the moment, i am not the dungeon master running their game to them, i am Xarkaidl the deathless warmonger who sought to bring the world down in response to being exiled from his homeland which he founded and built the infrastructure for. They arent trying to stop me from rolling some dice, theyre trying to stop a fundamentally destroyed man from tearing down everything anyone has ever loved simply because that is what happened to him. And likewise, i am him for that moment. I look across the table and see this band of misfits. These twinkle-eyed fools couldnt begin to comprehend the pain of being exiled from your homeland for daring to defend it, from those outside its walls and the dragons who keep your people functionally enslaved to their power. They call it 'symbiotic', we use their magic and fuel our machines, yet we would be powerless if they ever wished to alter the deal. We were at their mercy! The mercy of dragons! Yet while i made my 'machines of war' and dared to find my own source of power, away from those who'd see us in chains! I am the monster?! No... ill show them monsters. Ill show them things that skitter and scuttle in the dark. Things that lumber and shake the very earth beneath their gigantic stride! I will show them true horror, and maybe then they will begin to understand why i took the action I had. Maybe then... they will begin to understand the action i will take now... and wish to have the man i was. I am who i am, and there will be no return for those with vision too clouded for my genius... Its so much fun, and makes it all worth it in the end

Kinda ironic to see Tai Lung here when he was merely a victim of a empty promise and false hope, an antagonist at best for Po.

Every true villian speaks their truth and it is believable but in the end they are proven wrong. No villian can win because then they cease to be a villian.
