I don't think I've EVER seen a motorcycle mechanic remove a drain plug with an adjustable cresent wrench....same with not using a snap ring pliers, then keep turning the engine over with the electric starter with no engine oil in it , 2 week's after putting the spring in the vise and squeezing the shit out of it it's going to break then hey , let's repair it properly with a New spring 😢 the morel is the story is don't make videos showing people how to be a Hack😢

Hello. Peter again from Canada...I have a 93 zx11....and it seems to have blown the main fuse. Brief overview...starter had a dead spot, and so I hit the starter button many times quickly to see if I could get the starter to engage...after 20 quick clicks of the starter...the complete electrical system went dead...any idea where...the main fuse is? Thanks. Cheers!

Excellent video. At least I'm not the only one to have this problem. My 96 is very difficult to start. Once running it'll back fire and running very rough. Before it was rideable one it popped and back fired it ran good. Now it won't run smoothly at all. You know how they sound running good makes that beautiful whining sound.

I see you use 40psi. What is the flow rate (SCFM) required by the compressor? Mine is a DeWalt 60 gal. 3.7hp and will push up to 13 SCFM. Is that sufficient for this rig?.

I loved my '72 XS-650. I bought it new for $1200. About 6 months later when I was going about 90 MPH at full throttle, my 650 went into a high speed wobble. Somehow, I was able to hang on. Scared the crap out of me. I took it back to the Yamaha dealer and gave them an earful. Their mechanic showed me how loose the swing arm was. He put the bike on its center stand and grabbed the back wheel. He pushed and pulled it side to side. It moved about an 1/8" in each direction from center (1/4" total movement). He said the swing arm bushings had failed and Yamaha replaced them under warranty. That little defect damn near got me killed. After that, I never trusted that bike above 80 MPH. It was great for riding around town.

I bought my new '72 XS-650 back in early '73. I loved that bike. I put about 25,000 trouble free miles on it before selling it. I had to sell it because I had nowhere to store it. The US Air Force shipped me to Maine for almost 4 years. I am fascinated by seeing the engine taken apart and put back together. Besides oil changes, the only work I did was replacing the clutch and adjusting the valves. The bike never left me stranded.
