I know that it’s crazy but I swear on everything that I put that complete board together, picked out those trucks, nose guard, rails, tail guard, everything EXACTLY to the T. The grip tape is what gave it away. I did that man. I took slime balls off and put those bullets on myself too. I will pay him big money to get that board from him. I know that he may not want to get rid of it and I completely understand. But this board is priceless to me. I can send you my info for him to reach out if he is interested. He can turn that $10 into a lot more! It’s crazy because I watch your videos and never in a million years thought that I would see my board. I sound nuts I’m sure but I promise you I’m not a looney tune lol - I couldn’t sleep last night after seeing this. My mind is blown 🤯

@@80sloveI have the jessee Guadalupe nos in a teal stain, other than that I have the other 3 as reissues, My reissue collection is about 450 decks deep, only have 3 nos originals, but I’m happy with the reissues, I have a seperate stack of about 20 reissues that are doubles for skating too

@@206dave That's so insane...would love to see that collection. I'm good with the Reissues as well. I have and have had both NOS and skated OGs but you can buy a lot of reissues for the price of OG and you don't feel as bad if they warp when they're reissues. Nice score on the Guadalupe 🔥

@@80slove the Guadeloupe I’ve had since 2006ish, I paid about $400 for it but had to have it, I have all the boards bagged and in stacks on a big shelf in an extra room, once in a while I go through them and remember the old days, One day I want to lay them all out in my backyard and take a picture from my roof, it would be a ton of work but I can’t think of any other way to get them all in one picture

@@mushman20101 I use a little soap and water but it can't be too wet otherwise the cracks in the wood will swell and show. I use Howards or a similar wood cleaner and conditioner on stained decks...just be sure to test on the graphics first. You'll also want to be careful on the amount so the wood doesn't crack and swell (pressure cracks).

Bro, that is a super rad find. More 80s than cruising to the mall in your IROC, blasting Dokken, or The Cure, and drinking a bottle of Jolt. The best thing I've found for dirty or dusty grip is a sanding belt cleaner.

It was Gator but when Vision parted ways with Gator they still wanted to make money off the iconic graphic. It's the same thing with the Mark Gonzales decks now...the don't say Mark Gonzales...they say 'The Original Vision'.

@@mushman20101 That Weli colourway is so sick. It's always worth more to have #1 but that seems pretty high for a Reissue...you're definitely at OG pricing there. I know some of the BB Series Hawks are up there and some of the earlier Reissues can fetch a fair price but the market is pretty soft right now. You'd have to love it.

I still got my original Powell Peralta Ripper and Tommy Guerrero and Hawk. My Guerrero is near mint only skated with it a few times i loved the deck so much as a kid and teen i hung it on my wall and didnt wanna ruin it and just skated with my other boards. Wish i would kept my others too had a McGill and a Gator

I fully agree...that black TG would be pretty sick. It might even be more sought after than a Hawk. Seems like people really want to see another Iron Gate.

@@80slove it’s hard to put into words, but there is something calming about the graphic. I’d build a solid black complete out of it, similar to the OG magazine ad with the all red edition from 88-89. Powell Peralta is keeping us on the edge waiting for more!

Henry's work is top notch, and I can see how people would think it was from PP. I've saved his BB graphic on my computer to use as a reference whenever I'm trying to figure out or remember which series a deck was part of. Using it as a guide, I grabbed a Tommy G series 9 for $150 (no card), a Tony Hawk series 7 for $350 (I'd been wanting that 1st graphic) and a Hawk series 11 for $200. The market is really weird right now. A Santa Cruz Simpsons 500th episode Bart Slasher got added to the collection for $200 and my best score to date, a signed Ray Underhill red OG deck from 1991. The seller had it listed as being signed by Buck Lasek, oops. $250 for that one. A purple Staab Mad Scientist for $200 with some shrinkburn and a black Underhill mini Cross for $199 were both too good to pass up. Don't know if you have one, but the McGill 40th anniversary McTwist deck is pretty sick, (the gold foil is pretty pimpy) and I have the three Godzilla decks from Santa Crus pre ordered. Two are Natas style and one is similar to the Roskopp Target 5. Glad to hear that the real estate gig is going well. Best wishes for continued success.

I agree...I think many use Henry's graphics to complete or do homework on their collections. Such amazing tools. Congrats on all the recent acquisitions...dude...where do you put all these decks lol. I know this is 3 years old, but I was his neighbor in Carlsbad. I was a 12 year old paperboy and would knock on his door and ask to buy decks and stickers etc..I would use my earnings to buy decks and wheels and stay was always so damn cool and generous. They were stoked that I loved skateboarding so much. Sean Mortimer was just as rad and I’m eternally grateful to have that experience as a kid. RIP Ray. Such a bummer

Awesome review/deck/channel! I literally just purchased this deck too! I'm kind of partial to the White Dipped Powell Peralta Decks. I still have my Original OG Powell Peralta Tony Hawk Iron Cross Boneite XT in Dipped White with the Pink Background when I was a kid learning to skateboard! It has never been drilled for Rails or Tail or Nose Skids/Protection. It has No Name Trucks, No Name Bearings/Risers and I chose Neon Pink Griptape and Neon Green Mini Rats 95a wheels to put on it lol I love it still so much! This McGill is the closest ReIssue to my Hawk I can get so far in White. I've been waiting for Powell Peralta to ReIssue the Hawk in White! I can't afford an OG Original White Hawk let alone find a White Hawk that is NOS Perfect still wrapped in plastic! I love the Old School Reissue decks. I have a few of the PP and other brands. I spent a lot of money at the time for a "2nd -C" 7Ply Hawk Iron Cross in Black Mint NOS in Shrink wrap and I have the ReIssue Black Hawk too now to match it. My older cousin had a Kevin Staab Pirate deck which I thought was the most sickest graphic! I was lucky as I purchased a PRS Punk Rock Skateboards Kevin Staab ReIssue deck in Orange. I hope Powell Peralta will ReIssue the Hawk in White Dipped soon so I can afford a New Mint NOS deck of my original one! I subbed to your channel cheers from Canada!

@@80slove OH HAPPY CANADA DAY too! Mine was chill, I gave my shift away at work lol. But, it was drab and rained all day. Yes I tried to keep my OG Hawk as best as I could. I have 3 pics of it. Maybe I can email them to you. It has a bit of razor-tail but thats it, couple dents scratches and normal kid skate wear. I even have 3 Vision Street Wear Stickers and 1 Pink Chip & Pepper Sticker on it :D I remember in skate shop going in with my friends, where my dad bought my Hawk for me.....I was always deciding between the Mike McGill Skull & Snake Bottlenose, Caballero Street Dragon or the Hawk. I chose the Hawk! I would have been happy with any of those really. Yeah the Staab deck has totally stuck with me as it was the ultimate cool graphic, other than my own Hawk Chicken Skull Iron Cross. I watched my older cousin and his friends skating his Staab in a grocery store parking lot. They were board sliding the concrete parking stall blocks and stacking each others OG Big Ramp decks on top of each other and taking turns ollie'ng them! To me that was insane with those heavy big boards! I'm hoping too soon I can buy some New NOS White Hawk ReIssue Decks! I would be soooo happy. Take care keep up the great channel/vids!

There's some great OG pages on Facebook. Most of my stuff is Reissue so if you have fb i would join some of the pages and ask the experts. Now take their input with a grain of salt...they like to low ball sometimes especially if they're interested. If you can find something similar that has recently sold on ebay that will give you an indication of what someone is willing to pay...you have to search 'sold' items though. If someone really wants it...you could do really well.

Sick deck. I like the yellow stain. I was just noticing on Powell's website that that deck shape does come with different concaves. If you do a search for "Skate One Specifications", you will see a page that lists everything out. SP0, SP2, and SP3. I hadn't realized that that was the case. I want to say the latest red one is SP0. I wish they would re-issue the Barbie deck you have on the wall. I talked to someone at Skate One and it didn't sound like they will. I think they said something about how Barbie didn't want to do it since he has his own competing boards on another brand.

Nice find...there's definitely a market for OG decks. I would suggest trying to find some OG groups on FB...and if you can find a Vision one all the better. The market has softened quite a bit since the VID but people still love the OGs. Vision doesn't sell quite as well as some of the other brands due to the owner's business practices...but there's always someone looking for their first pro deck and willing to pay good money for it.
