I watched the movie last night and I love it so much. Such a beautiful film - the visuals were beautiful, the love between the sisters was touching, and soundtrack was amazing. I think my favorite parts are when the cop goes around the corner of the lover's nest and the feathers are spilling out of the pillow and then when he fires the gun and the pillow catches on fire. I need to see this movie again

Saw this last night with my girlfriend and was so delighted and surprised! I've gotten very used to the very cynical, heavy handed, atmospheric "elevated horror" films that have been coming out in the wake of Hereditary. I assumed this would be another of those, but the movie only got better and more touching the longer it went. A horror film about sisterhood, love, and young women protecting eachother while *literally* caught in the crossfire of controlling men. Just beautiful.

I'm glad you shared your thoughts on this movie. I saw it the other night and I can't stop thinking about it. I think it was much better than Longlegs which is by the same studio. For those who say the buildup for the sisters wasn't earned they weren't paying attention. At the beginning they're not even apart of the same family unit Hunters character isn't even in the same car. Then she calls the little sister a bitch. And there's tension because the family thinks Hunter is disturbing the sister/causing the siesures. Then Hunter hears the voicemail and that changes everything for her, she knows in reality her sister cares and loves her and wants her to be happy again.

I loved what you said about Hunter. I would never want to be known as an activist just for being trans and also being good at my job.

I don't believe the whole when you grow up you become moderate bullshit, for one singular reason, what radicalizes people, is seeing how shit everything everywhere is, and as time goes forward, it doesn't get better, it's only getting worse, faster and faster, fascists are winning everywhere, America is about to become a theocratic ethno state as the UK is setting itself on fire over racist beliefs while Europe is becoming a form of Neo Axis, wages are going to shit, health care is going to shit, unemployment is going to shit, housing is going to shit, the fucking weather is going to shit, the only thing that's getting better is technology, at the cost of military technology also getting better, meaning deadlier cops, deadlier wars, even less fair power dynamics where any oxcidental nation can genocide an entire third world country without risking a single one of their men, or enforce Orwelian level control and surveilance on their own citizens, drone striking any dicidents, becoming moderate in a world like this, means being complaicent, being complecent in a world like this, means having a serious lack of empathy, and having a serious lack of empathy, is a world like this where everyone is getting decimated and isolated and everything is unjust, simply lets you drift right, an the retoric around us, is getting more and more fascistic, being moderate in a world like this, means enabling fascism, if you enable fascism, aren't you just a fascist yourself? Standing by, idling, saying to everyone "oh, shut the fuck up and smile, things will get better eventually, you'll grow up and own 3 houses and be the CEO of 2 multinationals, like everyone ever." as the Neo Nazis get in power and start WW3 is not what we need to do. What we nee to do is end Neo Liberalism, deradicalize Nazis, prevent WW3, reajust wages in accord to inflation, rework unemployment, make sure everyone gets easy access to the medication they need, bring back community, nationalizes services and end profit motives, rework the housing market, end overproduction, make sure people's lives stop being shit, and make sure that everywhere they look, they stop being fed so much Nazi bullshit. Then, maybe, wecan course correct, but it might already be too late.

You have a fascinating mind. I didnt see either movie, but want to, when it is convenient to. I was first introduced to Taylor on a local tv station;. She was about 14; playing at her local county fair and was working hard to have a career in music. Ive been a fan ever since. David Becham IS Ken! Your Bliss Foster video was my introduction to your videos. It is so refreshing to find an intelligent, cultured, curious MAN, sharing his enlightened and unusual views! Thank you for your time and effort!

I iften disagree, but it as all good. I found ur channel because i was swarching Bliss And I found you. I look forward to seeing more of your videos. Isaac, I believe is his younger brother.

This is such a good piece, possibly the best analysis of post irony, post truth, and post rhetoric I’ve seen. I legitimately can’t tell if this is praise or scathing criticism. The mood and tone are entirely indecipherable. The information merely exists. Which might be good? Phenomenal

AVAA, Recently I ran by a substack article headlined "why I'm not calling myself an activist anymore". The article was behind a paywall, but I imagine it's been in my subconscious for a while. Your comment about F.D. not being a feminist just made it click, be careful of the self-identified :0

I agree that most people will become liberals. However, I think that's a function of it being the dominant ideology rather than it being inevitable. There are plenty of old people who maintain the political beliefs they had in their youth.

i think it’s a good way of telling story’s in a way that moves such a vast timeline along, if they would have left that in it would have been another 5 hours added onto a story that’s not really about all the trials and tribulations, well dune is about the trials and tribulations but more tuned into the decisions of each character in regards to politics. i think it’s something we see more in books rather than movies, like well get dropped into some scene that’s reminiscent of a larger theme but we linger in that scene with the main characters internal dialogue. it’s more in the movies wheelhouse in my opinion to show the more step by step short moments but it is impressive to see the cutting of internal dialogue in movies like this. sorry for word vomit idk if it all makes sense but yk, it’s interesting

3:00 we are all born white supremacists, Homophobic and racist, he’s not describing it from a natural point of view. He’s saying that the current world is constructed that way to label or put you into one of those categories. These words and terms are used as a barrier to prevent free thought. They’re like guard rails to protect the status quo. GODBLESS.

The irony of calling ivermectin "horse dewormer" while talking about trusting experts... such a terrible lie sold to us by CNN. Just googling the word "ivermectin" will show you that it's a great drug used by humans all the time. Wish that dumb "horse dewormer" talking point never became popular because it took the focus away from the real point we should have been hammering, which is that the drug has not been shown to be an effective treatment against covid. ): Instead some people say "mainstream media tried to falsely call it horse dewormer!!" and for once they're right. Great video otherwise

I like to say I am a marxist on the sheets, social democrat on the streets. I know how the world is, you can talk with a friend at a bar about extreme leftist political views but at the end of the night you have to go home, wake up the next day, go to work, pay taxes, get groceries, eat the groceries and shit the groceries (I like how the fact that we all humans have to defecate somehow creates a sense of belonging, the capital has eroded everything except for the fact that we all have to still sit on the toilet and pass some feces).
