While shopping at the Walmart near me I noticed a can of Great Value Spaghetti Rings Pasta with meatballs. So I thought I would compare it to Franco-American Spaghetti Os with Meatballs. Great Value is Walmart's generic brand name and generally their products are much cheaper than the national name brand groceries. But even though the Walmart store brand is much less expensive, their food is actually pretty good. While filming this KZfaq video, I was surprised which canned pasta tastes the best.

Its good to see that Walmart has a pull tab on the can. The local supermarket brand where I live still uses regular lid on the can which requires a can opener.

It seems like more and more companies are moving to the pull tab on the can. Soon the can opener will be a thing of the past.

Shouldnt be a big deal, regular cans have a much stronger seal then pull tab cans, pull tabs last around 3-5 years, regular can lasts 10+ years

Those are bad, I recommend the pampered chef can opener, it is super easy and it opens tabs with a hook, it even can grab the top which makes it easier. I still use a can opener because you don't have to scrape the last bits out, when the inner ring is gone give it a couple shakes and it slides out.

I've reached SpaghettiOs my whole life and I'm 56 I still love them I quit eating spaghetti O'Brien a long time ago Walmart's tastes better and they're cheaper

I use Spaghettios as a tomato soup. I just ordered a case of a few kinds of Chef Boyardee for storage and I hope it brings added comfort if things go south. Just added Great Value as well.

Tastes completely different from the 70s and 80s from what I remember . Any one has an old can of SpaghettiOs check the ingredients. Used to be pretty basic. Ingredients. And you could pronounce everything in it.

I have purchased both. As for meatballs I usually always get at least 1 - 3 meatballs in every spoonful. With Spaghetti-o's I can spoon 2 - 4 without meat.

I used to buy dozens of cans at a time of the Walmart brand. However, lately they are different. Don't know if I just got a bad lot or if they actually changed them, but there are no meatballs anymore, despite the can actually saying meatballs on it. It is now a meat sauce and tastes different. They have a kind of dirty taste and aren't very salty like before.

What about the comparative nutrition values? You didn't touch on that. I'm mostly interested in calcium amounts. I've seen 3 different numbers for % daily values: 30, 20, & 1. Seems no one can make up their minds!

There are few things that I liked the off brand from the big name brand. And spaghetti o’s with meat balls is one of them. I could never get myself to enjoy name brand spaghetti o’s. But I’m telling you the best off brand spaghetti o’s with meatballs is the Aldi brand.

I believe the Franco American brand tasted better than the Campbell's; I think they changed the recipe somehow. Too me, the Great Value also tastes better than Campbell's. Too bad my Wal-Mart never seems to have their brand in stock lately.

Robert A. Edinger So I’m eating it now and I never thought I’d say that I actually prefer the GV brand! It tastes more like the way I remember back in the 90s when who was it? Franco’s? Franks? Made Spaghettios before Cambells took it over? This is how I remember it tasting when I was a kid lol I like it better than the name brand! 😄 Thanks to your video I would’ve been missing out!

Yes, you can eat them right out of the can because they are already fully cooked.

All canned goods are cooked and completely fine to eat straight from the can. It does taste way better heated though.

Franco-American had been a brand name of the Campbell Soup Company since 1915. They decided to drop the Franco-American brand name in 2004.

I agree Walmart is better. I typically stick with l chef buy r but had a can of each of these someone gave me. The Campbells was nasty. Eatting the Walmart now and not to bad.

Spaghettios with meatballs .98c a can. Great value .67c a can Hate to say it but Walmart's canned goods are a huge bargain, I stock up on all the canned goods since they last long and are used in alot

IF YOU WATCH THIS GUYS VIDEOS AT 1.75x SPEED YOU CAN MAYBE ABLE TO GET THROUGH IT, BUT AT NORMAL PLAYBACK HE IS SO SLOW PACED ITS ANGERING AND ANNOYING
