Is this how it’s packaged for shipping? I saw you had some spots open but worried things will come damaged if this is how it’s boxed.

Besides being a most 'excellent' artist, you really express and communicate the the artistic journey, all facets of it, in the most intelligent and sensitive of ways. And that I find to be very 'inspiring'. Thank you, Alex Ross.

getting to know reality and how to replicate it is a part of art, yes... But another one is to create a "style" (the sum of your flaws) to transfer your ideas into the paper. What I mean it's that I don't think realism is the ONLY way. Love your art anyhow!

@6:29 Does anyone know what this DC Kingdom Come art piece is called? For some reason, I want to display it in my room. Great work Alex Ross. Keep up the fantastic work. Your work is inspirational and breath-taking to me. Sometimes, I want an animated/live action movie of your works.

I completely agree with Mr. Ross. I'm not as old as him, and yet I feel the same way. You can't really feel your art when it's on a screen, and this piece feels the same as your last.

I disagree. Traditional mediums are superior to so-called digital art. Working digitally is convenient and in certain fields necessary, but computer programmes help the artist too much and prevent them to truly understand and connect with their work.

100%! I'm primarily digital but it's important to my learning to switch to traditional sometimes. I feel that learning proportions on paper and working with errors that id otherwise quickly undo in photoshop make me not only more efficient, but more willing to take risks with my digital art!

Man. I remember when I was a kid. Scribbling for hours on paper. Hating the scraping noise of the pencil while I drew. It drew me away from comic style and to a more abstract set of ideas, It’s why I switched to paint. I always thought I’d never draw again since that noise is the reason I stopped. The day I got an iPad with an Apple pencil. My brain started to draw again since the sound of stylus on the screen doesn’t hurt me to hear. Cheers. Love the art. Love your art.
