Shows just how far the "second city" has fallen behind its far more vibrant Northern rival. In comparison to the immense development of Manchester, poor Birmingham looks kinda like.... Stockport.

I'd like to see you fly the drone though some of the openings and drop down into some of the rooms to get a real perspective. I've always loved castles but I was born on the wrong side of the pond so to speak.

If you watch my video of the dam I pull off such a move, with these old buildings though would mean putting the building at risk of being hit by a gust of wind etc so I don’t like to risk it

Lots of views of the terraces and pitch but you missed the most striking part of Villa Park which is the Holte End entrance, this Victorian facade is the one aspect that all visitors to Villa Park remark on, no shots of that at all. Also no shots of the Holte pub, a Victorian pub attached to the Villa Park car park and just beyond that is the Parish Church of St Peter & St Paul established in 1120 (which the Villa terrace song "the bells are ringing for Claret & Blue" refer too) and probably the biggest omission of all was Aston Hall built in 1618 on whose grounds Villa Park was built and owned by the Holte family from which the Holte end gets its name.
@OnDroneProductions22 күн бұрын
Nice bit of history there and your right about the holt end I couldn’t do it due to line of site but I will revisit it soon and give it another go. Thanks for watching friend and some nice extra info thank you

Hi, just like you I tried out my Drones' Active Track Capabilities in my Car yesterday. I tested it on a Long Road quiet Road of about 3 Miles. (I have the Mini 4 Pro) Before Starting the Run, I changed the Return to Homepoint from the Takeoff point to the Controller thinking that the Homepoint would update throughout the Flight... About 1.5 Miles into the run, the Controller started beeping and saying the Drone would return to the Homepoint as The battery level was getting too Low, (It was at 60%!) So obviously the System was using the Take-off point as the Homepoint and NOT the controller as I had specified. Just to make sure I wasn't going mad I repeated the Run and got the same results. Upon asking several KZfaq Droners, it turns out that the Homepoint doesn't update to the Controllers position during the Flight! It only uses the Position of the Controller at Take-Off and does not update on the move, unless you go through the menus and do a manual Update of Homepoint. Now, this, I still have to test, but as you know the waether is Sh*t Everywhere in the UK, so it could be a while. My biggest concern is that I won't be able to manually update the Homepoint during an Active Track session, ie, I will have to Stop the Flight, Update Homepoint and satrt another Active Track Session and Join them all up in Post.. Just makes the whole point of Active Tracking in a Car useless unless you are driving around in a Circle not too far from the Homepoint! I am certainly Not impressed with DJI at the moment. Would you be able to do a Test of this yourself? as there just isn't any Information available for what I see as a Very important ommision in the DJI Software which could well be very expensive for someone who expects their Drone to follow them no matter what. Cheers, Percy.
