There are 3 maybe 4 mmos to play and the only ones worth playing are in order 1. Guildwars 2 2. Wow or ff14 3. Eso Oh and if you like retro grindy mmos Ragnarok online Lineage 2 Maplestory. There you go. Thats what is worth staying with and playing.

Console won’t save this game

Too rich for my blood. I was looking forward to this game, especially after the New World boondoggle, but I'm gonna pass until AFTER launch AND when it goes on sale for at least HALF OFF.

I'll rather put my money & time with Once Human over Pax Dei at this point, even if it a bit longer of a wait.

I was a developer for many years and from that perspective, I don't pay to do QA. I get paid for QA. This is far too unfinished to be asking this much coin for. The plots are alo very tiny so one is really limiting.

I did the alpha's and I really didn't like the combat. It was terrible I know it's been improved but still it's not good. They called it a place holder I think. I won't spend on this until I see something worth my time.

you left out the topic of payments and subscriptions because they know they want subscriptions in the final product, but they don't know what to do with players who purchased early access

yes if you are 40 you have 40 building areas but if you all have the most expensive edition you have 180 building areas.

I can't see New World being popular for console players, especially with all the recent negative feedback. People are going to see how badly mismanaged the game was on PC and look for something else.

I paid for the game, I enjoyed many hours, and then I moved on. I may even come back if they launch fresh start servers since I managed to not burn myself out on it. I think we all expect too much.

wait what really? but they dont even have combat in the game...

They can do console launch and new content and even be brilliant but till they fix desync issues it will not help much. While desync is this big an issue rankings will be useless, ranged weapons will never get balanced right and players will remain frustrated.

They could literally just add Daggers and PC players would *glug glug* AGS.

great content @jay. my thoughts? 1milion players x 40.00£ per game = move team to Romania. Game is off then flash it down the toilet and let it drain on the Romanians. Amazon quality, as good as it gets.

My wallet will be closed until I see that this game will bring as a finished product. Aka main release. Combat/Animations still need a lot of work. Condisering the devs also said everything will be wiped from the Alpha/Beta. Chopping wood/stone is miles away from New World as an example. *Serious question:* Will bow be good later on? As someone who has been a Hunter/Ranger lover ever since my first MMO (Daoc) back in 2001. For me, if it's just bad and only for range pulling, will be a dealbreaker for me and wallet 100% closed. What do you think I played in New World? Musket/Bow :D This is looking worse than Minecraft. It may look amazing but having good GFX alone is not going to make people play and stay. MC has bosses, something PD does not. And PvP....you drop everything everytime you die so enemies can you collect it. Even if you have lots of mats but forced to re-craft entire gear once you die? Hard pass. We already got plenty of building/survival games. There has to be more than just building (and bad pvp design). A game called Hytale is in the works. Basicly Minecraft but with A LOT more content, more bosses, mobs, buildings, weapons, dungeons, caves, hidden treasures etc.

I like the idea of paying for plot, it gives you a since of ownership.

New World is so friggen dead... they need to shut down the remaining servers PERMANENTLY! ITS OVER!
