I would like to comment that when you buy a wig make sure you buy from a US company. I was looking for a hairpiece , and I found on online. I didn't find out where it was from until I ordered it. When it came, it wasn't what I saw online, and the color was so off. I contacted the company. they told me that colors are different online. I told them I want a full refund they don't want to do that. It was their mistake. I am sending it back, but I have to pay shipping. SO BEWARE! I am dealing with a china company. The company 's name is HEYWIGS. I wanted to tell all not to make the same mistake as I did. I am old and I can't believe I was scammed, I should know better.

Do you have any recommendations for a style like Dance but straight? Is this a regular synthetic and not HD fibers? I think will wear longer and better than Raquel’s Editors pick or directors pick if NON HD fiber

Even though I'd never reach for this, with my huge noggin, I like getting your perspective. What I learn from you, and other youtubers, I have used to assist others. Thank you, Denise. That said, if your top had been an earthy desert hue, and maybe a bandanna or scarf around your neck, this could be a memory from the first time I rode in a jet back in the 80's. Southwest Airlines had a wonderfully casual vibe back then.

I have two of these, one in Malibu blonde which is your color with a lighter root. I live in Florida and can wear these in the summer. Has lasted a few years and no sign of wear. Don't need a wig grip either. The price wasn't so bad, probably because an older style and short.

I have a RW. Topper. I have hardly worn it but it just feels dirty and the hair doesn’t move. How do I get it back to being soft again. I think maybe I put too much dry shampoo on it. A would appreciate your advice and time

I saw your video on things to watch out for when buying a wig, can't find it now. I would like to comment that when you buy a wig make sure you buy from a US company. I was looking for a hairpiece, and I found one online. I didn't Find out where it was from until I ordered it. When it came, it wasn't what I saw online, and the color was so off. What about blow drying after? (A heat friendly synthetic, lace front, full/half monofilament top) New to wigs; washed my simmer in human products 🤦🏼♀️ newbie mistake. Just bought Scene Stealer and I love it!!! It needs washed but I'm sooo scared lol think I'll go the fabric softener route and see🤷🏼♀️ I bought some online fancy shmancy (jr) products and I feel like it made my simmer worse😢. Basically my simmer has been through newbie mistakes hell 😂 but learning as I go🤷🏼♀️🥰 oh yeah, not to mention I cut the simmers lace😂😂🤦🏼♀️ I saw vids where youre supposed to, just didn't realize you dont with Raquel Welch. If you're new and you mess up... It's okay...don't feel dumb. Like she said, we've ALLLL been there, you're not alone 💞💞💞🌷 lol

I was just looking at WigShe again tonight when I came across this video. Since I "know" Denise and have watched many of her videos, this one caught my eye right off and frankly I laughed. The color is definitely a mistake although it looked better outside. Hmmm...I was not looking at blonde colors so I would probably not run into this problem, it's just that WigShe has great reviews w/pictures and their prices for the quality is very good. Thanks for posting this one, Denise, and being truthful. If I get a WigShe HH piece, I'll follow up.

I've been wearing wigs full time since last September and I have 3 EW Dance wigs. It's my absolute favorite. I'm a nurse and it stays out of my face so well. You can't mess it up! LOVE it! Your review makes me want a blonde now!

I'm a bit confused about the term hand-tied. Do the descriptions usually distinguish partly from fully hand-tied? I have seen some reviewers say something is fully hand-tied, but then seen people in comments say that there are wefts. It's confusing!!

The partially hand tied wigs have wefts, but they are covered by a sheer material, and are in the back near the nape. Unfortunately, some wigs with the covered back wefts are sold as fully hand tied.

Janis hit the nail on the head... they do refer to these as fully hand-tied, even though there are some closed wefts at the bottom. I'm not sure why that is as there are other wigs that are truly fully hand-tied that have no wefts (I have a review of Mariska coming out today that is truly fully hand-tied). I will have to see if I can ask some of the manufacturers about the reason for this... but I've seen it from all of them so it isn't just a Jon Renau thing.

@heywigsister I agree that Janis wrote a great explanation! I kept thinking I was missing something when I saw reviews where wigs with some wefts were still being described as fully hand tied!! What a relief to learn that this actually IS confusing and not just that my brain has failed me!!! 😂

Oh my gosh, I can't believe I forgot to talk about fit! I would say it is more average petite at the crown of the head, but truly average around the circumference as I have a 21.25 circumference and I have it cinched all the way in with the adjusters, but I'm not getting a lot of extra room at the top. It is a little big on me ear to ear, though, and I have to tuck it behind my ears a bit... if I pull the ear tabs down as far as the cap will allow it does sit on my ears a bit... so the only place I think it is more average petite is at the crown.

I just got this wig, and love i! I got it in large, because my head circumference is 23". It fit's snug but comfortable. I got it in Dark Auburn. I'm considering another color. too. It's definitely perfect out of the box. Thanks for your great videos!

This is the first time I've tried it, so unsure how often it will need to be done, but a wig sister told me that she doesn't have to reapply at all between washes.
