Does the resort have transportation services to and from the port?
@mygreedytravelblog2 ай бұрын
Not as I know. If you get to Cozumel from Playa del Carmen by the ferry (it arrives at San Miguel, the main town of Cozumel), you will find a taxi with no problem. It's a 5-7 minute ride from the ferry to Playa Azul. If you are a cruise liner tourist you will be much far away from Playa Azul (there are 2 ports for cruise liners in Cozumel). Usually cruise liner representatives take care of their guests proving them a taxi. Cozumel is a tiny island. From the port (for cruise liners) it will take you not longer than 15-20 minutes to get to Playa Azul by car (taxi). Does this info help you? Have fun in Cozumel!

I think the best way to contact the Spa is to go to the hotel's website: www.playa-azul.com Click on "contact" and send them a request. I tried to use the direct e-mail to Savia Spa but it does not work.

We got married at Playa Azul back in 2017 and to this day many friends and family tell us it was the best vacation. Many folks have been back since. We will be back soon and can't wait!! We choose to fly into Cozumel, it's easy and the hotel is less than 10 minutes from the airport. Love the staff at Playa Azul (recently under new ownership) so we come back to see those folks as well! Check out Playa Azul, you won't be disappointed!

Good review. I have a reservation for a room + breakfast the first week of December. I'm looking forward to snorkeling right off the hotel beach, renting a car for some exploration of the island, eating at the restaurant and other local options, and just relaxing for a few days! I will be arriving by ferry, and I assume I can take a cab from there to the hotel? For a reasonable price, I hope. Let me know if you have any pro tips for transportation to and from the ferry.
@mygreedytravelblog7 ай бұрын
You will find a taxi at the ferry with no problem. As I recall we paid $7-8 for the ride from San Miguel to Playa Azul (and from Playa Azul to the city center/ferry). I don't think there is another way to get to the Hotel from the ferry. It was easy to rent a car from Playa Azul. Please keep in mind that the first week of December is the beginning of the high season, and it may be busier than during our May trip (low season). It may be harder to find parking in the city center of San Miguel if you decade to dine out or shop there. Taxi would be the best option. If you want to drive around the island, rent a car! The tours are rather expensive (in my opinion). It's safe and easy to drive in Cozumel (there is one main road going around the island). Have fun in Cozumel! it's a lovely island. Don't miss Cozumel's historical part of San Gervasio!

Hi - thanks for the vid! Can you give an appraisal of the overall condition of the hotel? The last time we were there - Pre-Covid and when the Adelstein’s still owned the property - the hallways and common areas looked very, very worn and shabby. While we love Venetian - we’re reluctant to pay for Prestige service & room if the place is in disrepair or showing it’s age with banged up furniture and 23 year old drapes and decor. Will greatly appreciate your response! 💕10/2023, btw…..

Hi! It was February 2023 when we stayed at the Venetian last time. I didn’t see anything wrong with the hotel. As I mentioned in my video, we stayed at the Venetian during the quietest time prior to the Super Ball game. It looked like that the hotel’s team had enough time to clean and fix everything before the event (: I was pleasantly surprised by our Wellness Suite and the Prestige Club customer service. If you are planning to purchase the Prestige Club option, you will be fine. Based on the reviews, it looks like that the "hot deal's rooms" (the most inexpensive rooms) make tourists unsatisfied with service and cleanliness. Here is the link for Wellness Suite (at 2:05). It may help you to see how the Wellness Suite looked in February 2023: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rtyaapCVnrOagn0.html Enjoy Las Vegas!

Here is our itinerary. Arrived at Anchorage and rented a car from the airport. Stayed overnight in Girdwood (Alyeska Hotel). Took a ride on Alyeska Aerial Tram to the mountain peaks. Drove from Girdwood to Homer (Kachemak Bay, 200 miles away from Girdwood). Made a stop at Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC) to see bears. Stayed at Hotel Land’s End in Homer. Enjoyed the ocean, watched bald eagles and visited several villages of the Russian Old Believers. Drove from Homer to Seward (Resurrection Bay). Stayed at Angels Rest Retreat Center. Took a boat ride to the Glacier, had a ride with “Turning Heads” Sled dogs, visited Sealife Center. Drove from Seward to Talkeetna (overnight at Alyeska Hotel in Girdwood). Stayed at Alaskan Lodge in Talkeetna. Took an air tour to the Denali Mountains with landing on the Glacier. Had a dogsledding with AK Sled Dog Tours (kennel of Dallas Seavey) Drove from Talkeetna to Anchorage. Visited The Alaska Zoo There is a link to my other video about Alaska. You may find more details about our trip here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/h8icdLFmtZaliHk.html Enjoy your trip to Alaska!

I won't have a car, so i will not be able to visit the Russian village. Your happy cheerful disposition comes through on every video.
