Hi Vinny. Your lucky my friend. We only really have one drag strip in the UK. Santa pod raceway. I used to go there every year. I haven,t been for a long time. It seems that there is a track in every town in the states. Good luck to ya buddy.

Great job on the seat belts. Sucks about the paint. When wet sanding avoid raised areas and let sandpaper do all the work. Don't press very hard, or at all. That's what I've learned watching youtube😉👍

I agree with your favorite, favorite Chevelle Vinny! That comment about the 67' being a bash, that may have meant it is, a lot of people steal the pro Street chassis to use with other bodies. That's where the term kit bash comes from. 😎👍

Hey Vinny. LOL! I posted about the awl before I got to the part about you not having an awl. How about putting a small nail in your pin vise of maybe heating up a sewing needle.

I’m just recently getting back into modeling and I don’t have enough knowledge to really share but all you guys, not excluding the ladies, I’m sure that there are some, I just haven’t heard anything from any of you yet. So when I get a chance to give back I enjoy doing that. That being said with breaking bits and with shaky hands, I’m old, I found an awl in my tool box that I’ve had for years and never used. It’s got a good sharp point on it and before I start drilling holes I use it to put a small divot where I want my hole(s) to be. It helps me to center my hole(s) better and I find that it helps keep those tiny bits from wandering therefore not breaking near as many of them. I know that this isn’t an idea that I came up with, but I came up with it one day after breaking 3 bits trying to make 1 hole. For those that don’t know about this, I hope it helps someone.
