@@cruisinusa5110 Try the Royal Hawaiian in Laguna and tell em you want a booze free tiki drink. I'm sure they'll accommodate the ask. I know trader Vics and Don The beachcomber both now have well made non alcoholic drinks.

I was pleased to visit this place about 10 years ago (?) ... great to see its surviving the storm of generations! The zombie I ordered tasted like old gasoline lol but I had a great time none the less .

He's referring to the 70's Mai Tai. And with a little research you can find it but Trader Vics 70's recipe had a special mix to it. Still does to this day. The 44 MaiTai is well known. It's the 70's one that has a little secret sauce.

I loves me some Thee Swank Bastard. Been diggen them cats since years begone when they had Hula Hoop girl down at Double Down Saloon. I miss Hula Hoop Girl. Main guitar bastards dude said she moved to San Fransisco. Once was a time it seemed every time I rolled into Vegas from LBC, Thee Swank Bastards and Hulu Hoop Girl (Kasandra?) were at the Double Down. Been a long time seeing them(dont roll into Vegas as much these days). I reserved a table for Golden Tiki September 2. I hope to god this time you (didnt have it end of May seeing iggy pop) have the Surfboard Pupu Platter. It seemed we got a little cold treatment in May. We didnt have a table like our first great unreserved time, had to sit at the bar, didnt have a Surfboard Platter(we were told none were clean for service). We felt severely dissed. The only saving grace the second time visiting was i was served the best Margarita ive ever had(Made from Breaking Bad’s Dos Hombre Mescal). Dude Im giving you a second chance considering our first time was fun as heck

OMG! Coincidentally, I am drinking out of a glass from there right now! I can’t believe it is or was still there. I miss that place so much. Lived in Atlanta for 12 years and went there as often as possible. What an amazing place. Maybe my favorite place in Atlanta. Do we know if it’s still there now? I will comb through the comments to see if anybody said anything about it.
