HDR looks fine on Windows, but SDR on my 27M2U-D has a problem with dark backgrounds dues to (I believe) local dimming: images are oversaturated AND veiled at the same time (white elements look gray). There is no way to turn local dimming off, as the option is greyed out in the OSD.

You're using the old firmware (M3T101). There is M3T105 out now. You can update it using the Dell Display Manager software and the included USB cable.
