wonderful, I never use brake cleaner for cleaning because it hurts my hands a lot.

Hi Roger, unfortunately I cannot ship the product outside of my country as rules on shipping liquids are very strict.

Thanks for sharing your setups. I just restarted a couple of years ago after 35 years and everything is brand new to me, we didn't have all these options at the time. You say in this video that you put some super glue on the ball and teflon. But can you please explain where exactly? I don't understand. Thank you.
@rccartipsКүн бұрын
It's kinda hard to explain, but I have older videos on how to remove slop. In areas where you have slop try to slightly increase the diameter of parts with a very very light coat of superglue or wrap with plumbing teflon tape (e.g. ballcups).

Excellent.

Add adjustability if the rules let you. :) Like adding spacers between the upright and upper and lower spherical bearing, or trimming the bearing or the upright? You can change camber gain, roll center doing this. Or shaving A-arm pivot points to move the arm forward or backward to change caster. Changing ackermann more towards the negative... etc. Think outside the TT-01 limits with a dremel or spacers. :)
@rccartips14 күн бұрын
Good ideas! Due to slop I am already running active caster :D but somehow it is fast.
@CraigOverend14 күн бұрын
@@rccartips My Tamiya Astute has factory tuned 5 degree of active rear toe. lol. Where you want active geometry you can add a spring or rubber bush to make it progressive. :)

I didn't know that tt01 chassis can turn so sharp! How can I make mine turn sharp like your?

@@rccartips what's the front toe angle? Salamat po ☺
@rccartips14 күн бұрын
@@simpleisthebest73 1 deg toe out to 0 toe. Depends on the track.
@NBC_NCO12 күн бұрын
Trim the steering limiters on the control arms. Trim the inside of output shafts on the steering knuckle to allow for a greater steering angle. Putting a thicker oil/grease inside the rear differential can help with making the car oversteer under acceleration and under braking in corner turn in.

@@rccartips shaft or belt drive faster?
@rccartips14 күн бұрын
@@maxchung539 Probably belt. You can adjust front vs rear power transfer via belt tension, can have some give with belts, usually lighter. But shaft weight can be more centerline. Speed run cars that go 220mph run shaft so it is faster :D
