That area with the steel lines that leaked were at one time under a second battery I guess?? Add in the dirt and some battery acid residue and rain water you've got rust and acid corrosion sources. A bad combination with steel hydraulic lines!

Shear walls in New York State ? I would have found myself a new structural engineer. I agree with on the zip product when you add up the tape , and the BS warranty that’s supposed to big selling points.

Sure is a lot of work but you know you'll have a reliable machine that will be as close to brand new as you can get. It'll be minimum maintenance for the rest of its life with you. It will end up paying for itself many times over even if you include your labour costs. Did you ever consider putting a pit in the workshop so you could work on the trucks and do wild changes on these machines standing up like gentlemen and not laying on your back working like someone earning using their _moneymaker?_ Perhaps the watertable being so close to groundlevel made a pit non viable. Be careful working with the older friction material as it may have asbestos in it which is not a healthy substance. Also hope you can get a better portable lifting device to save you from serious or even a minor back injury. They are not fun; ask me how I know. I'm 68 and have spent the last 38 of them with 24/7 chronic pain. Please be careful because for selfish reasons I do not want you injured and have my video entertainment getting interrupted. 😲 Incredible job you're all doing Mueller dudes! 👍

why don't you use ferrules? Isn't that a norm in America? Here in Europe, stranded cables must be pressed on with ferrules of a suitable cross-section.

Kudos on the work ethic, but, not sure what your time is worth, but wouldn’t it be more efficient to just pay up for a better working machine, but you tube might be paying your time, in that case kudos .

Pretty good. I would have liked to see 'dobes or chairs and #4 or better #5 on a tight schedule since this is going to be a 'floating' slab. If it moves you really want it to move as a single unit made more difficult by the point load on the bedrock. Makes keeping it in an even plane when it cracks more challenging.

Your mechanical skills are impressive and obviously watching all your other video establishes not to judge a book by its cover! You make it all look so easy. Your explanations are always interesting and sound. As to why the way you do things! Thanks Brother!

You saved yourself a pile of money, for the sake of a C clip, that might well have been put in as a replacement or just worn out when the clutch plates were put in, because they did look quite new. Am delighted that so much was learned, talk about satisfaction in delving into the unknown and it comes off OK. Been there myself, it raises a smile or two. Not sure if I've seen your off grid property yet. Looking forward to the John Deere getting finished as well. Then there are the coverings for the garage, or hangar I call it. Why not put a barbeque in as well ? Piped music and a large screen might be nice further on down the road. Maybe thats too much though. So much to look forward to :)
