​@MrRaptan they take at least a month for new medication to take effect but not all are very effective for Hope none stop her seizures they just slow them down and less frequent but she still seizures around 7 times a day and a few through the night at the moment x all depends on heat, illness, tiredness, and how active/ stimulated she is during the day so it varies daily x

Hi there no shes not reactive to lights or sounds we also had this tested at hospital for photosensitivity during an EEG but all negative , her brain is fine with those things , if anything she loves music,loud cars and banging which is strange but she gets happy when banging loud musical instruments lol x alot of people who suffer with epilepsy are sensitive to those things but definitely not hopey 😊

I know it's horrible just waiting and watching them suffer x hopes increasd daily as time went on, at 3 months it was one every other day, by 8 months it was everyday by 1 year it was up to 10 a day! We had an EEG at hospital but was only for 1 hr didn't see a seizure so we requested a 24hr home EEG and that showed multiple seizures and seizure activity only then did they fully believe us it's a nightmare to get a diagnosis and meds! She's now on 5 meds none stop the seizures! Bring reffered for surgery to have a 'Vagus nerve stimulation ' fitted now! ​@@HopesSeizuresWere there no abnormalities at the first 1hours EEG. I was told that if there is truly an epilepsy some changes should appear on EEG even if the recording is between seizures.

@dianagae3024 yes on all her eeg's

It's just a clip of her seizure not the full thing, she used to get stuck, stiff as a rock in a sword position as the docs called it cannot move ,or react stuck in a spasm then pulls out of it and us able to move again, EEG was used to confirm it was a seizure when like this x

Aw glad it helped yes show your neuro, this is why we started hopes page as I struggled to find footage of what was happening to her when her seizures started and doctors wouldn't see her as we were in the middle of the covid lock down! Crazy, Hopes surname is Gregory too xx 🥰

Bless her, yea Hopes on both keppra and vigabatrin, when she first started vigabatrin seizures stopped but then came back 9 weeks later she's now nearly 4 years old on 4 medications and still seizures everyday and night bless her x

Yes I bought it from amazon and her occupational therapist gave her a padded helmet to wear and some special solid boots to support her ankles she falls all day due to drop attack seizures and convulsions and her balance /posture is non existence xx

These ones are classed as focal, absence seizures

She has brain malformations and is missing the middle part of her brain the corpus callosum she is now nearly 4 years old and on 4 types of medications but still seizures all day bless her x

Yes but struggles to follow instructions sometimes and obviously she can't talk so have to ask simple yes or no answer questions
