This is happening to me right now and it is very frustrating to lose all the hard earned hours as my hours keep on reducing daily. I dont even know where it is coming from. I wish youtube can come with a way of detecting genuine people who are being attached. I have tried to email youtube but mo response. What is the solution? I'm hoping i can get to know this. Thank you.

Going through this right now... So frustrating... Glad I'm not alone (knew I wasn't, but it still feels good to hear). In one hour i just got 225 views spread across all the videos on my channel. each one even got a couple dislikes. The lengths people go to to be petty astounds me.... Very discouraging... It happened last week as well, but all the dislikes were removed. I'm hoping that happens in the next couple hours.... UGH

First of all, kudos for running/talking throughout this entire video - that alone gives me motivation. Secondly, here are the things that have helped me most throughout my journey: 1. Drink a bottle of water and hour before your run. 2. Use the bathroom everytime before you start a run. 3. Prior to the run, reflect on all of the challenges you've faced in your life and how you've overcome them. - this will give you ammo for when your mind is telling you to quit and take the comfortable route.

Brilliant video! really enjoyed watching it. I am getting back to PR this Saturday since before Covid. I have been training with others since Christmas following the C25K and I know I will struggle to get under 40 ( PB is 33) but I can't wait now and hopefully see some improvement in the time each week.

Try using it on a rebounder b4 you quit. I use it on a rebounder because I can't take the impact running on my joints and spine. You burn a lot of calories using the app and rebounder and it's a little more fun because you can bounce or walk high knee in between intervals to get even more calorie burn.

I am doing couch 25k to loose weight. I am finished with week 8. I know nothing about running. Why is there only 3 runs per week? I repeat every day and rest 1 day. Is that wrong?
@michaelbooth2890 Жыл бұрын
I found from my first marathon training programme that rest days are just as inportant as training days. And two rest days in a row for a beginner is about right. I just found that I would go for a long walk or bike ride on one of the rest days.
@danmeck5978 Жыл бұрын
You should be having a rest day between runs and then 2 days off ie the weekend. This will enable your muscles to repair and improve strength and stamina.

Just started and completed day 2. Because I'm 4 stone overweight, I'm very slow. But, not comparing myself to anyone because I'm 58. So I'm taking it slow and listening to my body. I'll push a bit, but not to the point I make myself ill. Resting today, but did cycle for half hour. Enjoyed the video God bless.

I'm having this right now but what is also happening is a new form of spam bot which are transcribing audio then replying with some bogus comment based on what you said. The bots are getting a lot better and it seems someone is waiting for a video upload then unleashing the bots. The views start first then the comments all in spurs.

@LithuaniaExplained2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing your experience! This happened to my channel this week- a spike in subscribers and a spike in views and likes on two videos, both having really really low watch times. The external traffic sources were really sketchy urls too. I didn’t feel like I could do anything in terms of official action and reaching out to KZfaq. I sadly had to make those two videos private and I’m hoping that after some time I can make them public again.

Thank so much for making this video while jogging at a pace at which you could still talk. Last week, week 5 of cr5k, I jogged for 20 min but it was really hard! I was close to giving up, therefore, I searched for what brought me to your video. Today I decided to slack down and before I knew I was halfway, and enjoyed all the way to 22 min. I feel a bit embarrassed about my slow pace, but so what, I did it! Can absolutely do 5 k by my 60th birthday next June 😀

This is happening right now to me!! I received an email from KZfaq claiming I was in severe violation of their terms of service and if this happens again on the next 14 days my channel will be terminated. At first I had no idea what I was doing wrong and then after much investigation I came to the conclusion that it was a bot attack on 1 video. I’ve reached out to KZfaq & their community forum. Thank you for this very well explained video... while you're jogging 😁 Did this happen again to you? I see this video is 10 mths old so I'm curious on what has happened since.

@@chrissymhines my advise is once you see a comment with a link,DONT click just delete and block the user from your channel eventually from the other accounts will stop also,just don’t report or click any links.
@FitnesswithPJ2 жыл бұрын
@@chrissymhines I recommend emailing KZfaq (you can find all the info on your dashboard) and explain your case. I emailed YT about 6 different times and never had a resolution, however, I wanted a "paper trail" in case this happened again. I think, in my case, someone "bought" views and the business they bought the views from accidentally put those views on my channel. I would delete the video in question on your end and keep an eye on watch time and likes for the new videos. If it seems excessive in the first few hours of release take it down. Good luck, I know this is super stressful and KZfaq is not very helpful. PS - there is also a forum on KZfaq for creators. You could also start a chat there.

And are you still running now in 2023? What did you use after you completed C25K to keep going?
@sarac.35683 жыл бұрын
I'd say the top 2 reasons are - boredom and discomfort. The discomfort part is I think just the pace being to fast. Just slow down to whatever makes you think "I could do this". It's not about speed (at the beginning). The boredom part can be handled based on individual preferences. Some people prefer music, but I found it wasn't working for me. I put on a VERY interesting topic for myself, and listen to a podcast.

I'm on my 6th week of running, However i'm on the final run of week 5 which is a 20 min run which i struggled with, got to about 12 mins and couldn't take the pain in my calfs/ankles, However i've attempted again since and got to 15 mins. What i won't do is lie to myself and tick the run off, I'll get to the 20 mins in the next couple of runs i'm sure.
@sarac.35683 жыл бұрын
Are you pushing yourself to hard in terms of pace? You can slow down as much as needed in the beginning.

Great tips thanks for posting. I’ve restarted it for the 4th time now and filming each run for my YT channel and to see my progress and mistakes over the weeks. This video is very crisp from the Samsung! Is the stabilisation straight out of the phone or did you use a program? Also how did you record the sound as that’s lovely and clear as well. I’ve been filming from a DJI action camera and it’s good but the sound is not great. I could get an external mic I suppose but that’s extra bulk to carry. Keep up the great work 👍
