I love the 350’s, I’ve owned every generation on the 350excf’s. I’ve even tried the 300 xcw’s at times & I still go back to the 350. They are 4 stroke tractors. I will say the ‘24 has the stiffest suspension yet, I’m not a fan of that.

Appreciate your review. Good detailed info on the features. Much better info than the RM video! Really appreciate the real-life info on actual sizing.

Morgantown powersports in Wv sold me and my son 2024 KTM 500excf’s for 9,999.00 with the 2,850 rebate from KTM. and they dropped the 400$ fee. Ours already had the switch replaced

I ordered the 36 because I wear 36in jeans with a belt as well. Ended up going with the 40, as I got to try on a 40 from a friend. I wasn't worried about it being a little big because of the velcro straps. I'm happy with the 40.

Mine had 38 hrs on them and the entire center section that held the inside reed petals collapsed and broke into 3 or 4 different pieces. Reeds themselves were not broken or frayed but the cage itself Is what failed.

Do you think this mod would qualify as a “high flow” exhaust regarding the 550 stage 1 ECU? I’ve done the exhaust mod and I added three UNI vents on the air box door and removed the snorkel. This improved the bikes performance considerably. I want to try the stage 1 ECU next. The intake, block off plate and Yosh exhaust are too risky to install right now.
@kcoutside71435 күн бұрын
It lets it flow better, but I personally wouldn’t consider it high flow.

does yours feel loose in the gears when you off and back on it like a shucking feeling?
@kcoutside71435 күн бұрын
I’ve never had that feeling on the ‘24, or any of the previous years. I guess if I was trying to lug in too high of a gear, it could possibly do that. But the shucking has never caught my attention if it ever happens.

@kcoutside7143 I have the same bike but a 6 days and it will jerk back and forth getting on and off it kinda like a vehicle with a loose transmission mount

@kcoutside71436 күн бұрын
That’s a good question! I’m going to put some thought into that & put up a video on that. My number 1 do it all bike from single track to adventure use, is always the DRZ 400.

So i looked at a 2015 KLX 250 s it sounded like it had a bent valve in it. The exhaust valve opened up to release the decompression chamber, it had 11 .7..1 compression so I ended up buying the 2021. Honda CRF 300 l

I have the Trax master tires on my DRZ400S I ride at least 90% off road and I have over 6000 miles on them so far. I really like the rear tire but the front trak master is not as good of a tire in my opinion and will not use again.
@kcoutside714310 күн бұрын
The last 2 front trak masters I’ve tried didn’t do well on road even when properly balanced, I have moved to Dunlop EN91 & Bite MX . On the bikes. I do still have a trak master on the ktm though.

Ive got 13,000+ miles on my 2023 and its been a blast for ever mile. Great bike. Needs a few things like the emperor racing radiator guards and skib plate. And definitely tires. Stock tires are great in the street In fact I have a set specifically for street riding but suck in the dirt

I just bought my second of this saw. It's by far the best climbing saw in my opinion. It's great for the money and if dropped I'm not out 800 bucks. Mine has always been super dependable, easy to start, and extremely strong for its size. My first one is still running like new and I only bought a second because soon as they realize how good it is I figure the price will go up alot

I have a pair. Worn them much. They have performed very well, but I'm looking to upgrade to something more protective. I got the Terra Evo X, but in the same size my toe kisses the end just standing. Unfortunately I don't think I can go up a size as I have the foot strap tightened all the way.

How do these compare to your previous MSR Adv boots? I’m interested I both but am unsure which to go with. Thanks!
@kcoutside714325 күн бұрын
I just ran the formas on a ride last week, the gaiter piece on inside front is definitely not waterproof! Feet were wet after first creek crossing, while wearing over the boot pants. The MSR boots are waterproof. So if your planning on getting wet, go MSR, they will require a little more break in time..

Why would i want to do this? Please. Learning.
@kcoutside714324 күн бұрын
It’s cheaper than buying a aftermarket exhaust, but not legal in many areas, so it’s a “do at your own risk” kind of thing.
