You might really like a book series called Cradle by will wight, the main character is absolutely the villain in the eyes of many, and has many points in the book that show the 'enemies' perspective before they get obliterated by the MC, of which still tries to do good but is regarded as terrifying from and outside perspective even if the mc doesn't believe it. Will wights other books do explore these themes very well and uniquely imo and highly recommend if you enjoy reading fantasy.

12:42 I've always felt that this scene, while showcasing Miranda’s expertise, subtly mocks the occasional absurdity of the fashion world. The dress she’s putting together is visibly ugly, and the way the scene is shot suggests we should recognize its hideousness. I think the bottom line is while fashion is a big industry, nothing is that f-ing serious.

Yes, because a character having one arm just because easily makes him the coolest and best written character. That’s TOTALLY a good writing technique. Sarcasm aside, what’s better, a character who becomes crippled? Or a character was born crippled?

Idk when sukuna was fighting the other special grades, I felt the terror. Like I felt the evil radiating from him, from a thematic point of view I loved it. But putting myself in the eyes of the characters i hated him

Another thing about the Dragonborn is that game heavily implies you're a Shezarrine an avatar for the god Shor so more than likely you're literal god. They're basically a force of nature that no mortal can possibly stop, so the world is literally at their whims.

One other thing I really appreciate about this story arc is how Master Paku wasn't demonized as some irredeemable sexist strawman. His view on gender was dismantled, but not his worth as a master and a person

I have this simple theory of identity that states That jake holds dear to him the mythos of an old west, there he stands as a villain. And a rango comes into it as a mockery of a hero wich makes it a personal insult to jake in the first place. And when the "new world" comes and tries to stomp on them both, they simply got put on the same scale plate for a noment. When rango finally deserved his legend he became a hero that suits his antagonist as jake, but at the moment they together face the corruption and decay that tries to get rid not of them as individuals, but as a concept. So after mayor gets what he deserves rattlesnake goes away with respect and pride to the man that fits a role in his myth. Dunno my english is bad and i havent sleep all night so

i mean if he was that great why did he marry alicante if he knew that otto was scheming behind his back sure you can make the argument he didnt but that would make the dynamics between him and his brother daemon completely pointless and this stupid move also made alicante in high power as well as giving otto what he wanted as well as giving otto a reason and hold in kings landing and when you think about it if he were to marry rheanyra this would break out cries through the realm as siblings marrying isn’t t nearly as bad as a father and daughter marring he failed to keep his kingly means and family apart as well as letting his emotion s dictate his action and when situation gets rough he uses his kingly status to hold the problem not solve it like a real king should this is seen in the aemond losing his eye since he overall failed to be king he is just not suited

The dragons in TES were tyrannical dictators and only hunted in Akavir to near extinction, in Skyrim they were killed mostly to prevent more enslavement of humanity. Keeping in mind the track that plays when you run into a dragon in Skyrim is actually the Dragonborn's track implying you are are just a wandering world boss that the dragons have to live in fear of.

dude i think you are looking too much into it with the nathan drake thing. there is such a thing called gameplay story segregation. the numerous enemies were done gor gameplay. in the actual story there wouldnt be that many. also in skyrim, if i think some items belong to an npc like money or food i dont take it. even if it is not marked owned. i didnt join the dark brotherhood in my first playthrough. i try to think of the instory consequences of my actions. hell if i had the option i would say, "no thanks you can keep the cash reward, im just helping out. and you look like you need it more than i do." i absolutely play a good guy in my games if i can. and i sure as hell did not kill parthanux. just becuse someone is capable of doing something does not mean they will actually do it. im a human, i have two arms and two legs. i could get a gun, break into someone's home, rob them and kill them. even if there were no consequences to these actions i would not do it because i have empathy and morals. just because the dragon born is capable of doing terrible thing, does not mean they will. you are assuming they will because they can. stop doing that. its really annoying. to me a game is most fun, when i have great power and am able to use it to affect positive change in the world around the player character. nothing is more fun than that. also i like oblivion better because you are just a normal person when starting out. not the chosen one.

Joffrey actually seemed to be doing the right thing in this scene by taking what seems to be a genuine interest in whats happening with the realm. The problem is he does this so rarely that Tywin doesn't feel its worth his time to humor him with an answer. Also Joffrey was right to be worried about the dragons, while Tywin completely dismissed the threat.

She keeps herself at the job not because of being brainwashed, but because all of Miranda's assistants get promoted after a year. That's the deal for Andy--Miranda will recommend her to other of the publications of Runway parent company.

You have an odd idea of pay off. The pay off from supersonics dearh is that starlight doesn't have as much power in the company as she thought. Which builds towards her lesving company. Similarly the pay off for Bucher taking temp V is that only did more to hurt him and his relationships.

As much as I'm sympathetic for your take, Viserys failed at strenghtening Rhaenyra's claim. This whole time, he had the power to do so. Maybe if he acknowledged that Rhaenyra had bastards he could have given something to them, while legitimizing Viserys (his grandson from Daemon) as the heir to Rhaenyra. That way, the Velaryon would have been livid, but there would have been a clear line of succession.

Eve Online is my favorite example of this- the players (called capsuleers) are immortal and kill each other constantly for fun and minor power power struggles. Well the can't actually die so it's not that bad right? Until you realize that EVEs ships are crewed by thousands of people who are simply represented in the game as NPCs and they are very much mortal. While the game portrays at least some of the characters as heroic basically you commit genocide simply by existing in the game world that way.
