I've always been curious about Marsblades but am perplexed by why more NHL pros don't use them if they're as good as advertised? It seems like less than a dozen use them. Even Auston Matthews, who has apparently invested in the company, doesn't appear in pictures to use the Marsblade holder(?). Any NHL insiders with thoughts?...

Just to be clear? Is this video saying that the marsblade rollerblade system will help with your on ice performance? Or do they now make the same rocker technology for hockey skates?
@Marsbladeofficial
@Marsbladeofficial Ай бұрын
We provide an on-ice holder as well! The dynamic pitch of the i2 (our second-generation ice holder!) will move from the center to the heel as you move your weight on the skate. This enables several performance benefits like longer steel-to-ice contact (which generates speed) and sharp turns without digging into the ice.👌 The i2 is being used in all major hockey leagues 🙌 We've also done a deep dive into the specifis over on our website: www.marsblade.com/technology/i2

@Marsbladeofficial
@Marsbladeofficial Ай бұрын
@@rishipathak9394You can mount our holders on the older Vapors - no need for the newer quick release holders as all this is replaced with our holder, which comes with its own quick release 🙌 Regarding size it would be best to check the size of the current holder (this is usually displayed on the holder by the heel). The I2 is sold as a set so you order one set for one pair of skates! Let me know if you are unable to find the size on your holder, skate size 7.5D would usually have holders close to size 263 and 7.5EE would usually have holder in size 272.

I am an adult who started skating about a decade ago. I play low level beer league, mostly with people who played house league or maybe selects growing up. These are amazing. I’ve never had a single piece of equipment make such an immediate difference on my skating and, specifically, my confidence on my edges. I used the 17 inch rocker bar with the 11 inch stock profile and a 1/2 hollow (down from my normal 5/8). The glide is so much easier. I can hear and feel the difference with each stride. Tight turns both ways feel very stable and I have so much more confidence in turning and pivoting with the puck. Regarding trusting the edges: one thing I have always struggled with is keeping my head up while stick handling and shooting. Because I now have so much confidence in my edges, I don’t have to think about skating while I have the puck. Instead I can think about what I’m going to do to beat the defender or activate my teammates on the rush or the cycle. I was skating with my head up more than ever. I was really trying to push my turns and crossovers. I was almost exaggerating it to see if I would fall. I did not. I can’t describe the level of confidence this had given me, as a skater who has never had the most confidence in my edges or balance. These things are a luxury for a beer leaguer, but they come exactly as advertised in this video. The single most impactful piece of equipment I’ve ever bought for my game. You just have to try them. I was used to them after thirty seconds - the difference was apparent almost immediately. Get them and do the drills in this video when you’re warming up - you’ll see the difference immediately. He said “you’re going to be surprised”. I was.

I pleat ice and roller. The transition from ice to roller was really effecting my skating. I put the marsblade r1 on my roller hockey skates, amd I have to say the transition is smoother and significantly more similar to ice than a regular roller chassis. For ice, I use the blade tech with a quad profile. Good job on the roller chassis.

Do you mean that you have two smaller wheels on each skate or one on each? because the O1 is not built to have a 2-2 setup with the two in front smaller, on rollerhockey skates the chassis is built to compensate for that so all of the wheels are on the ground at the same time while the O1s are not.
