Is there a way to see the time without touching the button on the side?

Does anyone know how to repair one of these? The metal frame on mine has become disconnected and I can't get it to join back together again as there's such strong tension. Any tips gratefully received, I don't really want to have to buy a new one.

Try pointig the flash meter to the camera position.imagine the light is on the back of the model,where will you point the meter? To the camera position of corse!

I’ve just got this lens from Amazon. It’s huge! Image quality and OIS seem to be great. One thing though, is it normal to have a little bit of lateral play in the large rubber zoom ring? I’m not used to lenses like this so have nothing to compare it to. I don’t have any lens creep, that other folk have reported, just a little bit of a wobbly zoom ring. Wish I had a local camera store to compare with another copy.

For those wondering, this is still sold but under the name Ambituful and several others. They're identical, even 12 years later. 🎉
