Fascinating to see the process of picking apart a wine in such relative youth. As a favorite of ours, we're far too au fait with well-aged, more developed vintages that you forget how perplexing it can be to pin down a wine when it's not revealing its secrets so readily. Bravo!

Why are you announcing the variety in the opening. That's an awful idea :(

I have been getting these cases now for several years and they are ALWAYS a wonderful experience. Hats off to WineAlign for this initiative. I enjoy wines that I would almost never pick on my own, selected by curators whom I trust to give me notes I can learn from as I delight in their selections. I will be staying with this program for as long as the good Lord allows me to enjoy the fruits of this earth!

South africa has some TOP TOP TOP Pinotage. Sommeliers don't focus enough on it but should, it's a beautiful grape.

not blind taste tests...is it about the taste, or how it looks? a little food coloring can make it any color you'd like

I love this show; the only thing I do not get is why is it relevant to know the price? The price is from how many vendors? how do they come up with a number? I know for a fact that even chain stores such as Walmart do NOT have exact same prices in all their stores for the same wine. Maybe the price thing is just for fun.

Why is this wine listed as California rather than Central Coast or Santa Ynez Valley? You list AVAs when it's Napa or Sonoma.
