I was also worried that when the rack was in stored position the would be sideways. Now you only need to move your license plate so its legal when they bikes hide it. Ended up with a pivoting Kody rear light system combined with a Kuat 2.0 plate adapter in a stacked configuration. i use the cheap ziplock bags as freezer bags? i put the the cheap plastic grocery bags over the cheap ziplock bags i put a note one the bag and knot the bag the regular freezer bags are double the price of the regular bags i freeze my leftover crock pot food in a freezer bag and do the same thing with a note on the bags with the date the the cheap plastic grocery bags to cover my leftover plate of food and knot the bag at the end of the bag. Thanks for a very useful video. I'll question whether velcro will work well for two reasons: the adhesive on velcro has a pretty short life when out in the elements; and while the adhesive is working, the velcro packs easily with dirt and mud to the point that it becomes ineffective. There are many reviews on amazon that criticize this style of light for being inadequate when combinations of running lights and brake/turn signals are employed. I agree that wiring in a second set of lights would be worthwhile if there is sufficient space on the bike rack. Your rope extension for the tilt release is a stroke of brilliance. Do you find that frequent lubing of the various pivot points and friction surfaces is needed? Aluminum is notoriously sticky if the surfaces aren't perfectly smooth.

Mono tubes are Too Often; Bad News. In that they are MUCH stiffer Even alterinmg spring rates... in some cases. Avoid the things, unless a Racer and you Know exactly what is going to happen.

I bought this rack and I’m having a nightmare of a time with it. You really kind of oversimplify it in your video which I’m not sure is doing anybody any favors? It’s SO MUCH more complicated than that. I still cannot use this rack with my bike. And I’ve had it for months. Super frustrated.

I just replaced the ring and pop up gasket and cleaned the steam release nozzle and replaced the steam release knob. Still leaked . Pulled up on lid handle and let it down. It shut right up! Old ip but back in business. Thanks.

Colin, I had 2 bolts made using the download. But it appears the threads are the wrong thread. Any suggestions as I have called 1UP and asked if they discounted the EZpull since it was an issue with their design. They were extremely rude and arrogant. How did you get the bolt to fit?

Great video from the early days of DIY for this type of setup. And giving me a good idea of what to do. I’m pretty much going a similar route but instead of hard mounting any to the rig chassis itself, I’ll be using a TT25 directly on the back of each of the brake and gas pedals and then putting one directly under the seat. The idea is to have the shakers transmitting directly to the areas you feel it vs the rig itself. Hopefully it works out. I’m not sure if TT25s under the seat will get the job done, but since it’s only shaking the seat and not the rig perhaps it will be enough. Also as you mention get the licensed version of Simhub as it outputs the effects at 60hz vs 10hz for the unlicensed for a more detailed feel.

I was just looking for information to see if I could apply the Mapai Aqua Defense over the Kerdi membrane and in the Q&A section on the Mapai website it said the Aqua Defense would not set up over a sheet membrane since the sheet membrane was not pourous and the Aqua Defense needed to be applied over a pourous material to set up. Now that I've seen your video and see that it really does, I think I will do this as well. Thanks for the video.

I just bought this 2004 Suburban and I noticed the brake/ABS plug underneath the front passenger seat was unplugged. Soon as I plugged it up the 2 front brakes passenger /driver started dragging. I wonder if the previous owner unplugged the plug for that reason. To release the brakes I opened up the bleeder screw. And when I changed the brakes both passenger/driver side brakes was to the metal. Can having the ABS plugged up cause the brakes to drag? Leaving it unplugged will it help stop the dragging? BOTH SIDES ARE STICKING AT THE SAME TIME.

Having this issue with my truck. Jist bought it last April, the people at the shop are saying they can't re-create the noise so they aren't doing anything about it. Spent 2k on a warranty and they're trying to act like they haven't seen or heard of this issue before.
