I have been on a PPI for 20 years and have low b12 despite taking a supplement but its at the bottom of the recommended range. My intrinsic factor test was less than 1. GP will not do any further investigations. My MCV & MCH have always been out of range above the top limit for the last 15 years but again GP said its fine, not sure where to go from here. Also which is a more important test B12 or B12 Active?

Science means knowledge. As many of us realize or are coming to realize, there is pseudo science being a quasi science therefore it's not truly knowledge but a misleading "knowledge", or error. Hosea4:6 in the bible says "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge". That could mean God's people, (we are all his offspring Acts17:29), are destroyed because they haven't been taught true knowledge but lies. Lies of "knowledge falsely called." 1Timothy 6:20. "Knowledge falsely called" is in the Greek pseudo-science or pseudo-knowledge.

Nobody should follow Zoe Harcomb advises, she is always in the extreme, Keto diet is extreme and no nutritionist should encourage it, vegan is the other extreme, for Zoe there is nothing in between. Also she makes an utter confusion between what is essential and is beneficial.

I'm an endurance runner, 67 and recently (unexpectedly) failed an exercise stress test that was part of routine screening. That pointed to myocardial ischemia after just 20 minutes of what felt like easy-moderate exercise (no discomfort) when I often do 4-hour sessions for fun. I thought I would ace the test but it served a valuable diagnostic purpose: subsequent CT angiography revealed 50% and 30% stenosis in coronary arteries (quite a surprise and a bit alarming). The cardiologist prescribed statins. Aware of the statin controversy, I have spent many recent hours in PubMed central, and just read the Great Cholesterol Myth. Halfway through "A Statin Free Life" by Dr Aseem Malhotra (page 54) there is a case study on Tony Royle. That's how I got to this truly excellent video. Every word in this video struck a chord but especially his superb rebuttal to 'do you really think you know more than the experts'. From "A Statin Free Life" (p50): "In those who were high-risk or had suffered a heart attack and who had taken statins religiously for 5 years, there was an increase in life expectancy of a meagre 4.2 days over that 5-year period. When I ask doctors at conferences to guess what they would expect or hope for, I get responses of anything from a few months to an extra 10 years . But the correct answer is just over 4 days." I am definitely going to ask my cardiologist, as part of my due diligence. I have more reading to do to educate myself but I already wonder whether Tony was being overly diplomatic, in understanding how and why the medical profession seem to have things so badly wrong. Engineers would be fired for a sledgehammer attack on the enzyme that statins target. Doctors continue to get away with it. I will need a lot of convincing before I take the statins prescribed. Meanwhile, I'm hoping to find good advice on appropriate exercise intensity levels in Chapter 8 of this book (or elsewhere). Big thanks.

A fantastic programme with unrivaled support network. Their main objective is to help people change their eating habits to regain health and vitality and not profit making from ill health; unlike the world we live in. Ask your GP to refer you to the programme - it will change your health outcome!

So excited to see you all! I'm a colombian living in London, mostly carnivore 6 years ago. Previously Keto for a year. I'm so glad to see a lot of the best carnivore doctors in the list. Ofc so glad to see heroes in their fields as well. It's exciting to ask questions to the authors of your favourite books. I'm particularly thankful to Baszucki family for the support on Metabolic Psychiatry and PHC. I hope soon to be able to access metabolic psychiatry treatments in the UK with my private insurance company but the names I tried are not in their list yet. I hope to find more contacts during the conference, unfortunately I have to attend online. Let's all push this to happen. Grassroots movement is the way. Sadly there is too much unnecessary suffering out there and a lot of us where waiting for all of our lives for this answers! Thank you so much!

So far it’s not a cure, just maintenance. I have heard of one guy who got cured supposedly but if he has recurrence in 5 years is it cured?
@btudrus10 күн бұрын
@@kathya1956 "So far it’s not a cure, just maintenance." That is a gross missunderstanding. If the cancer cells normalize (no more rapid growth, no more metastazes) you ACTUALLY healed the cancer. Of course, if you start eating what has caused the cancer in the first place (sugar, plant toxins like oxalates) you are in danger that it will grow again. There is a good evidence that meat has substances such as taurine or carnosine which do exactly that: stabilize cancer cells. Trying the to "kill" the cancer cells is a way to hell as it only makes the cancer more aggressive....
