i thing huqsvarna 572 is one of the best huqsvarna chainsaw, i prefer this from stihl 462 for long hours of work BUT I THIS BOTH COMPANY have exalent chainsaw ,IN SOME CATEGORIES STIHL have better chainsaw, in some huqsvarna

The 395 responds very well to competent porting, the fact that its a traditional non-strato and a quad-port really make this the king of the 90cc class saws, the 592 is very hot stock but not much room for gains, a 10hp 592 is about max for that saw, a 10hp 395? Well thats easy.. ive seen 11.5-12hp 395 work saws that last. Gotta say that i still prefer the 592 though from a point of comfort and weight it wins

Very much appreciated, thank you. The best simple comparison I've seen, bravo! Just one small point, to eliminate doubt set camera to avoid loss of sight of the chain and bar for some changes. sincerely david

Great comparison. Would have loved to see 3 cuts and a new chain or sharpen each time. Otherwise great job. Thank you!! In the end they are all great saws! The 462 surprised me over 500. Knew they were close, but expected 500 to barely win. Still debating on either a 462 or 572 for my next saw.

Muffler mods and a slight carb adjustment "wakes up" most saws built in the last couple of decades! I love my Dolmars, wish I had a chance to get my hands on a 7900!

I was running this saw for about 2 hours at about a 30-50% duty cycle kzfaq.infoUgkxfQm1wmg0ItKDLavxj1nXtQY9HP7EF504 and it did a great job. I used the lever for the built in sharpener to clear chip buildup out more than to actually sharpen the chain. It managed to cut some hardwood stumps much larger than it's size without bothering the neighbors with hours of 2 stroke noise.

So you go straight in cold with brand new factory 395. Then you warm up the ported saw first and then cutting. Hardly a fair and equitable test, don't you think ?

I heard a while back that the Stihl 880 was slower than the husky 3120xp but in my book I like them both ain’t got nothing bad to say about neither of them except on the Husqvarna it has limited coils an on the 880 they’re unlimited
