Disagree with John and Jake. Adopt all FIBA rules except court dimensions. FIBA is a much more watchable game imo. Ultimately I would be fine if the rules were just universal. I know we'll never see it but I would love all FIBA rules adopted and imo the FIBA game is superior to the NBA in nearly every aspect.

Great job breaking it down guys, it changes everything it is going to allow the Big 3 to do what they do best with minimal turnovers, score the ball. If they can get enough Defense and Rebounding to help out they will be able to compete with anybody. I really hate the “he needs to become a more complete player” argument because you can always find a flaw within every player, it’s the responsibility of the front office to make sure that they build a good roster. Well NBA refereeing contributes... IN THE REGULAR SEASON. If Embiid ever played more than one or two playoff series, he'd get exposed (like Harden always does) there too. Ok I’m only 7 mins in but let’s talk about Tatum shooting. Yes it’s been a bit rough. But more importantly, he hardly shot the ball in those scrimmage games. He consistently took the ball to the hoop and he did it well. But that team has LeBron and Edwards for that. So yes, from team USA scrimmage only, Booker is the better shooter. Tatum is, however a better player than Booker. He is a 2 way player and he reads the floor better than 75% of the entire team USA. One more thing that I think is a factor is age. This is probably LeBron and KD’s last Olympics. Maybe LeBron comes back at 43 because he’s a freak but likely not. So give them the minutes in the early easy games. When it gets to the matchups for a medal that team is going to need Tatum to pass and defend and read the floor to create shots for the team. Kudos to David managing not to throw up when he has to acknowledge that Tatum is a good basketball player. ☘️☘️ see you on opening night when we raise banner 18. 💚
